Graham Ladd, hailing from Pawleys Island, South Carolina, embarked on a journey that began in the field of veterinary medicine, only to discover his true calling lay in the diverse realms of entrepreneurship, user experience design, and marketing. His eclectic career path led him to become the owner of a successful marketing agency, but it was his innate passion for storytelling that ultimately defined his professional identity. Graham’s exploration of various interests uncovered his profound love for visual storytelling, guiding him towards a fulfilling career in filmmaking and ultimately the creation of MadLad Films with his best friend and fellow film maker Ethan Kaiser. With a belief that the art of filmmaking is timeless, he dedicates himself to crafting stories that resonate and inspire. Graham’s journey from veterinary medicine to film exemplifies his belief in the power of storytelling and his commitment to bringing visions to life on the screen.

For Janson, it all started with a GoPro! Growing up playing sports and adventuring with friends, sharing those journeys through GoPro montages is where he found his passion for creating videos.

Janson is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University where he earned a BA in Digital Culture & Design. Since graduating in 2019 Janson has shot and edited content of artists such as Steve Aoki & Waka Flocka Flame on stages like EDC Orlando and the Carolina Country Music Awards.

Janson’s experience in music content is what drew him to MadLad Films, where they first collaborated on the Carolina Country Music Festival media package. Since joining the team in 2021, Janson has led MadLad’s post production team in shaping what makes a MadLad video so unique and valuable to our clients.

Janson is a thrill seeker at heart, from ripping dirt bikes as a kid to bombing hills on skis and mountain bikes as an adult. His taste for adrenaline makes him a perfect fit for the MadLad Team.

Ethan Kaiser | Chief Inspiration Officer

Growing up with an appreciation for the fine arts, performing arts, and eventually the cinematic arts, Ethan found his passion primarily behind the camera.

During his time in the traditional industry, Ethan has shot & assisted in the camera department for major production companies such as ABC, Netflix, History, Travel Channel, and Ethan and his brother Seth swept the film festivals with their latest film ‘Keys’, winning the 2017 Remi Award in the Houston Worldfest Film Festival, the exact same award Steven Spielberg was handed in 1969 for one if his first films ‘Amblin’ 

Ethan is passionate, outgoing, fun, and professional; with his Army ROTC leadership background and industry experience, he takes pride in co founding Madladfilms to bring traditional filmmaking techniques to new age content strategy.

Ethan loves to stay active & create: since playing with legos as a kid and making stop motion videos ethan has ventured into other crafts like woodworking, 3d printing, & tinkering with cars & bikes, He even attempts to stay on top of his fitness goals, between all of that!
