Been deep in the editing cave these past few weeks finishing up a few projects...Hoping to post more in the coming year!

Crazy to think I went to Iceland this year and haven't posted any pictures from it! Here's a start:

One of my favorites beaches in the whole world! Such an incredible landscape. For this photo I flew my drone up just before it started raining and grabbed some aerial shots of the mountain 👌🏼

New YouTube video is up! All about my trip to the Big Island a few months ago!

The Big Island is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to and I really enjoyed seeing it through my photography & cinematography

Unfortunately while on this trip, I had my bag stolen which had my voice recorder and all of my sound bites on it. So I've had to record audio for most of the video at home instead of on location! Not a huge deal and I'm happy with what this video turned into! Nothing crazy, just a nice behind the scenes look at my photo taking process

An accurate depiction of my life currently 😂 constantly balancing creative work & babies is not easy but I wouldn't have it any other way

This last quarter of my year will be busy with me editing the documentary, working on some new spec projects & new work that I'm excited about!

Initially I placed the title "Ben Did Go" as more of a working title but finally decided on "Crossing the Channel" as the official title with a tagline "A Paddle with Purpose" (which had written in his article and I loved it!)

Crossing The Channel: A Paddle with Purpose felt more authentic to the central theme of the short doc which is all about how Ben's legacy has brought these people together to do something hard & extraordinary like paddling all the way from Catalina to Newport!

Filming is pretty much complete. Now comes the fun part which is the edit! Donations will help recoup the costs spent filming as well as go towards some awesome physical products in the future!

Thank you so much to the and everyone who has already supported me throughout this process. It's been a wild ride and a dream come true

Some of my favorite aerial images from my last trip to the Big Island of Hawaii!

I had my camera bag stolen during this trip and it was really discouraging. Luckily I didn't lose my camera or SD cards that had the photos from the trip up until that point! It was a blessing in disguise and I'm excited to be able to share more of what I got with all of you.

Being apart of the Ben Did Go 9.0 on Saturday was an incredible experience. Documenting it from an outsider's perspective was really inspiring as the paddlers found themselves in the middle of the ocean altogether in a pursuit of greatness & personal achievement all in rememberance of Ben Carlson

Filming this documentary has been difficult yet rewarding. Lots of problem solving involved but I look forward to working on it for the next few months to bring it to life! I have a lot more photos to share but I'll post these for now as a teaser

Thank you to everyone who invited me to experience your world of prone paddling. I felt loved & included even though you guys didn’t have to at all. Huge thanks to who allowed me to follow his journey towards this goal. Thank you to for being great friends as well as everyone else on board our group. And thank you to and Alex for allowing us use of their incredible vessel and everyone else involved!

The last two days I've been working on my first documentary featuring and a few other great people

This documentary is a passion project of mine. I made a goal to film a documentary this year and the perfect story started to come together perfectly. Once the story came together, it developed into something even more beautiful.

I'm excited to share more with everyone but for now, you'll just have to follow along with teasers on Instagram!

Hawaii is home to some of the most beautiful waters in the world. While I was there on my last trip in April, I had the pleasure to spend some time near the water just waiting and photographing what I found interesting

I love these photos showing some people's relationship to the ocean. Whether it's kayaking, riding on a sunset catamaran or just straight up swimming, there's always something to experience when in the ocean

I moved my family & my business to Southern California this past week!

It's been a hectic week of moving & unpacking but I'm excited to call California home. As a self proclaimed cinematographer & photographer, it's an exciting journey to go somewhere that inspires me deeply.

When I came into contact with the Blue Lantern Inn, I was excited to craft a story of sophisticated love between a couple enjoying the summer breeze and gorgeous California sunsets in Dana Point

While in Hawaii, there were a few hikes where I had no service whatsoever...

came in handy as a satellite communicator. I was able to send messages to my wife and make sure she knew where I was

A lot of adventurers don't invest in a life saving device such as a ZOLEO or other sat phones. I definitely recommend grabbing one if you find yourself traveling or hiking alone quite often.

I grabbed some spec shots of the ZOLEO while in Hawaii because I loved the contrast of the black sand beach to the bright green branding👌🏼 this was also one location where I definitely needed it!
