Good morning Everyone this is my new friend Junior.

I stopped and enjoyed a cup of cold fruit punch today at his lemonade stand on my way back to the house.

I told him that I was going to put him on the internet and he agreed to take his picture with me.

Driving home from Nebraska last night.

saw this alien sphere out in the farm field.

I remember being told if you stare it it too long you will go blind as a kid. ha ha weren't we gullible.

made for an enjoyable drive thru the middle of Iowa.

Happy Birthday Isaac,
At 3 am three years ago my first grandson came into the world. He was still born and died at birth. He was born to two very loving parents at a hospital in Denver, Colorado. My oldest daughter Jillian and her wonderful husband Kyle.
It was 7 am in the morning and I had already gotten the news. I could have gone up there right away but I wanted them to have time to grieve there lose without anyone there.
It was a beautiful morning out and the sun was just coming up. I pulled over on Highway 83 just south of Denver and got out of the truck and took several photo's. These are 3 of them. Not the world's greatest looking picture's but they are very special to me. I will have them for the rest of my life to remember the day my first grandson was born.

Ever wondered about the one tree all by itself in the middle of the field? I was driving through Iowa and this tree was all frosted up. I started thinking what would I do if I had to stand all by myself in one spot the rest of my life.
Would I get really excited if a bird landed on my branches? If a squirrel or a deer came bye? Would I worry about the weather or just say bring it on.
I don’t like being alone. So I hope I would be in the middle of the forest.
If you’re out and about take a second and really look at the beautiful landscape in your area. What makes where you live the greatest place around? I like the four seasons we have in Minnesota. My favorite is fall. So many great memories of trips up north.

Good morning, I'm felling a little off track lately.

Took some mental me time this weekend. Feeling the mid winter Blue's. I looked through my photo's on my phone. This one is of the train tracks behind my sister's house outside of Palmer Alaska. It was a beautiful day and we were off to visit the mountain range off in the distance.
Anyone else feeling the Blue's lately? How are you handle it?

Starting off the new year with 14.9 inches of snow here in Minneapolis Minnesota.

It's the first weekend of the new year and I'm still not done moving the snow from the big storm. Was a beautiful day out yesterday and I was able to get out and snow rack the almost foot of snow off the roof. after snow blowing the yard around the house and the garage. My neighbors probably thought I was nuts out snow blowing the yard.

The pile I pulled off the roof was four feet wide and over three feet deep. put the snow blower to the test. But I was able to blow it all away from the house. Going to be a problem in the spring when it melts. Hope I'm not living in a lake came spring.

If you live in the north part of the US or in CANADA. We have had a lot of extreme weather this year. Be kind to your friends and family help them out and take it easy on yourself. spread it out over several days only work for a few hours. Call over the crew and get it done. Let people do what they can and take on the hard work if you are able.

I am the person that wants it done my way. I am not always home and I have to do thing when I can fit it in. I have four adult kids and when they came over and grab a shovel or take over the snow blower and help me out. What a great feeling I get in my heart ❤️.

Watched the new top gun movie again.

Just one takeaway from the movie. I liked the burden Maverick takes on to protect Rooster’s mom from also being blamed for Rooster not being able to fly.

I feel as a father we are asked to be that person in the relationship. The one to take on responsibilities like that to protect the one we love no matter the circumstances or the cost it can have on our relationships.

I have had to make these kind of hard decisions. I have to live with my choices. My parents are still here and I am grateful for them every single day. Sometime in the future I will be the elder to my family. I hope through all my years of experience I to can guide and teach my family as well as my father and his father.

Please take one day at a time. 24 hours today to be the best version of the person you can be. And tomorrow we can do it all over again.
