The Whiteville Police Department and the Whiteville Fire Department will be receiving donations for the counties in Western NC so devastated by Hurricane Helene. Items will be accepted at Whiteville Fire Department (120 E Columbus St) until further notice. We will be making multiple trips if necessary. We would like to have our first shipment on the road by the end of this week. These counties are hurting terribly, and what you see on the news doesn’t begin to do it justice. Please help give to this cause if you are able to do so. Acceptable items include:
◦ Bottled Water
◦ Gatorade/Powerade
◦ Non-perishable can goods/foods
◦ Toiletry items (ie. toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, toilet tissue)
◦ All package clothing such as t-shirts, boxers/underwear, socks. (Please no used or loose clothing as it will not be accepted)

Tabor City Fire Department - 113 W 4th St, Tabor City NC 28463
Fair Bluff Fire and Rescue - 152 Main St, Fair Bluff NC 28439
