Listen, I am 10000% all-in for every single person who wants to contribute to the spirit of a community!

I am constantly amazed at the creativity of people who design spirit wear. I am not one of them. 🙂 But this community has some really talented and creative folks. Some have storefronts, some sell from their homes. Each has a place because they all are adding to the Bobcat spirit!

HOWEVER….. when someone takes advantage of the internet by using someone else’s design and says they, themselves, created it…it should no longer be supported. And that goes for any business. Misrepresenting yourself or what you do or (in this case) outright lying, is unacceptable.

There is an individual posting on a community page about some designs. Her post has been edited after she was called out and now she has turned off commenting. But she essentially said she created a design that was found to have been created by an Etsy designer. She edited and said she collaborated with a designer “last night” to create the designs. But the designs on the Etsy page have reviews for that exact design going back before April 2024. So it was clearly not designed last night, nor by this individual.

Pleaae support any and all honeat and ethical small businesses….and support them often….because individuals like this can impact them!
