North Square at Uptown Celina, developed by Rockhill Capital Investments, features an exceptional community of paired homes. These upscale residences balance modern luxury and the charm of Celina's rich county and agricultural history.

A paired home is a luxurious and spacious single-family attached residence ranging from 2,100 to 2,500 square feet. Typically, townhomes are found in housing blocks of four, which consist of two spacious end units and two center units that share primary side walls. Duplexes, on the other hand, are single buildings divided into two separate living units and are usually owned by a single owner. In contrast, paired homes allow each unit to be individually owned, despite sharing a common center wall. Each paired home is individually platted, featuring unique entrances, garages, and private yards.

SENIORS EXPERIENCE A VU OF THE FUTURE: The Senior Class Of Celina High School Receive Scholarship Offers Through A Partnership With VU Scholarships

Two hundred and eighty-six students of the CHS class of 2025 were invited to attend a surprise event in mid-December. With families in attendance, the seniors were presented with personalized QR codes that linked them to scholarship offers from more than thirty universities around the United States. Students were presented with combined total scholarship offers of $414 million in awards through a partnership with VU Scholarships.

It is with great pleasure to announce the Outstanding Student Athletes of the Month as selected by the Celina Independent School District Athletic Coaching Team and sponsored by Lamar National Bank.

The whole town of Celina has been celebrating the State Championship win, and this month the Offensive and Defensive State Championship MVPs are being honored. This month’s selections are Bowe Bentley and Luke Biagini.

Bowe Bentley is a junior at Celina High School and starting quarterback on the varsity football team. Luke Biagini is a junior at Celina High School a linebacker and defensive back on the varsity football team. Both young men were an integral part of the team and we congratulate them on their success!

CELEBRATING 150 YEARS: First Baptist Church Celina, 1874 - 2024

The First Baptist Church was first organized on December 12, 1874. Through a group meeting of 12 charter members, history was made. In 1882, the same 12 built a church building just three miles east. At that time, the church was known as “Crossroads Baptist Church of Christ,” and in 1902, the town of Celina moved two miles south of what we know today. When the church moved into town, it became “First Baptist Church of Celina.” Fast forward to 1986, FBC was established off of HWY 289 (which is where it stands to this day).
