Hatshepsut temple in Deir el Bahri is one of the most famous mortuary temples, not only of the New Kingdom, but of the History of Egypt.
As reigns in the regency of Egypt, Hatshepsut inaugurated constructive projects that far surpassed those of their predecessors.
However, what is undoubtedly the most lasting monument that has come to us from the times of Hatshepsut is its mortuary temple complex of Deir El Bahari.
This temple is built with limestone and designed with a series of terraces that are arranged with their backs to a cliff. In addition, it must be said that the temple of Hatshepsut, technically called โthe Holy of Holiesโ is the best source that we have to know her reign.

A 2,800-year-old ivory object from the Iron Age, depicting a sphinx, a lion and two trees of life, was found during excavations in Hattusa (located in the Boฤazkale district of รorum, the capital of the .)
The depictions on the ivory work, which is approximately 30 cm long and 10 cm wide, can only be seen under appropriate lighting.
Head of Excavation Prof. Dr. Andreas Schachner says that the work was most likely added as an ornament to a wooden box or a piece of furniture made of wood.
The right and left sides of the work are broken, while the upper and lower parts are preserved in their original form. Therefore, it is possible to think that this was actually longer.
Schachner, "This is unique for . This is the first time we are faced with a work that is so intense and decorated with such a beautifully crafted scene. During the Iron Age, very extensive excavations were carried out in Boฤazkรถy, but such a detailed work was not uncovered."

One of the many "sand silhouettes" found at the Anglo-Saxon burial site in Oulton, where highly acidic soil erased nearly all traces of some interred skeletons.
All that remains of some of the skeletons are dark stains, or โsand silhouettes,โ visible in the regionโs highly acidic soil.
These delicate traces of poorly preserved bones helped reveal the 1,400-year-old siteโs 191 burials and 17 cremations.
The Anglo-Saxon cemetery was discovered in the town of Oulton, Suffolk in 2020.
