Mission Statement

Cheif Executive Officer: David Johnson, Alias "Macbuddy Pancho" Lueitenent of Affairs: Levy Jackson, Alias "Sconey-G" Minister of Defense: Craig Ross, Alias "Kaotic" Task Force: Common Lyrics At War Special Unit: ILL-I-NIEZ. “Bringing Justice to the Hip-Hop Culture.” Common L.A.W. Welcomes Your Support. Faced with everyday realities of conflict, and ultimately resolution, comes a label that represents everyday life. A label that’s function is based on preserving street creativity in Hip-Hop form. From the bottom to the top. Every since the new expression called “Gansta Rap” was introduced to the mainstream, there has been a misconception that this form of music represents the Hip-Hop culture in it's entirety. Since rap music has always been the voice of Hip-Hop, and the market is flooded with fakes, these accusations are to some extent true. Unfortunately this has caused an unbalance in the culture. If rap music is going to continue to be the people’s voice, it must be represented in its entirety. The goal is to manipulate the game that was designed to manipulate us. Take control of the music as oppose to allowing the music to take control over us, and secure the culture so that we, and our children, and our children’s children can continue to grow, groove and make moves to improve. Society is desperate for change, but the market demands consistent sales of rhetoric. This is what war is based on. Common Lyrics At War Entertainment Group is a sign of the times. It demonstrates how the Old influences the new, how things change and remain the same, how what it is, is what it was, and shall be again. It’s Hip Hop alive and breathing again. The Midwest is the breeding grounds for most of the labels talent. Chicago is known for artist like Twista, Common, Brat, Do or Die, and Kanye West who all offer different styles. Hip Hop is diversity cultivated in art form. Common Law’s goal is to secure this outlet that has managed to save more lives than claim, with all the fortified essentials the culture needs to survive and more. Please be advised that anyone who stands in the way of preserving the culture will eventually become a casualty of war by common lyrics that represent struggle, hope and CHANGE. Gear up soilders and choose a side. The Struggle Continues”. L.A.W.!
