Open your home to someone with an intellectual and developmental disability. We are looking for someone in south Texas
As a Host Home or Companion Care (HH/CC) provider, you would support a person(s) with an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) in your own home. The HH/CC provider should provide a family style environment in which the person being supported is essentially treated like a family member. The largest element of this is to have a caring environment which allows the person to achieve his/her personal goals. Community inclusion, such as going to a sporting event or ensuring the person has transportation to go to work, may be needed based upon the individual being served. This is a paid opportunity.
A provider can host between 1-3 people, but most providers serve just one person. You must be able to pass a background check and company training provided during orientation. Pay is based upon the needs of the individual being served, but A&A has historically been very competitive with any other HCS program in the state of Texas.
