‘AIN’T NO SHAME’ is officially released!
Blood, sweat & tears went into this record… Well, maybe not blood but a lot of tears and a helluva lot of sweat for sure!
Truly a dream come true!

The final chapter of the album story ✨
"Clear Blue Waters" and "Millions" were the last songs that made it onto the self-titled album. The record was actually pretty well finished when Brooks walked in with a batch of new songs, convinced they were stronger than what we already had tracked.
He was right.
These became the final pieces we worked on – heavy on acoustic guitar and vocal stacks, captured with an original pair of Neumann KM84's and our studio's Taylor guitar. Sometimes the best songs come at the very end, when you're willing to trust your instincts and make those tough creative decisions.
The magic happens in moments like these.

“If, like me, you found the earlier single, “Clear Blue Waters,” to be one of those songs that you stumble across thinking, “This is a song that sets benchmarks for others to try and follow,” I can’t imagine the panic in any folk or roots musician’s eyes when they get to the end of this album and realize where the sonic goalposts now lay!”
