“The mold remediation people came in and told us the mold is taken care of and we're just putting it back together," Cairo Town Supervisor Jason Watts says

The library, located at 15 Railroad Ave. in Cairo, has been closed since Dec. 19, after mold was found in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning [HVAC] system. The building was closed to protect the health of the staff, which has been hosting the library’s events at other locations.

Among the honorees were educators from the Cobleskill-Richmondville, Middleburgh, and Windham-Ashland-Jewett districts.
