Tomorrow (June 6th) Tachyon Groove kicks of the 2024 Music in the Park series. This year the music will be held at Noll Park (the park next to the fire station).

A few photos from what they called a "Super Blue Moon". Apparently it won't happen again until 2037. It was a lot of fun not only shooting it, but also having fun playing with some of the photos. Enjoy!

If you've been following us or the Crystal Box Office Theatre then you know we released the pilot of Hometown History recently. This is the first bit of original content being released for the theater by me. There will be a dozen short episodes in the first volume, and they will premiere at the Crystal Box Office Theatre before dropping on our YouTube channel. We sincerely hope you enjoy Hometown History and we can't wait to bring you more original entertainment in the future!

I love seeing the looks on folks' faces when they get their photos back. Preserving these memories feels so special, and that's why I'll probably always love restoration work. Got some photos you want cleaned up? Let's get it done!

You just pay a 50% deposit, then pay the rest whenever, in whatever amount. Your restored digital media will be delivered once the bill is paid! I will NEVER keep the items you send to me.

We've been working out some ideas for original content to be shown at the Crystal Box Office Theatre! Hometown History will be the first of these to roll out and will be premiering at the theater this weekend! However, those of you who follow us and the Crystal Box Office Theatre get to see the pilot early! There will be many more to come, with all sorts of stories about our area! We hope you enjoy, and if you do (or don't 😅) please leave a like and/or a comment on the video so we know what you think!

We're now just days away from the Red Carpet event at the Crystal Box Office Theatre!

On December 16th & 17th starting about 6:30 pm Tachyon Groove will be getting us in the groove with a fun concert of their original and uplifting music! Here's a link to the promo video I put together for them:

Following that excitement is the WORLD PREMIERE of Just Hitched! This movie was written and produced by Deborah Paulsen, who grew up in the Crystal area! It's always exciting to see something like this from local folks and I know our support and feedback will mean a lot to her! I personally will not be able to attend this fun filled weekend, but I'm happy to say it's because of the birth of my first child! I want to give a shout out to Denise of Denise Christin Photography. She has agreed to be at the event for photography! I've seen some of her work and she's definitely going to add to this experience and will certainly have some gorgeous photos of the event. Thank you very much, Denise and I'm looking forward to seeing those photos! Of course there will be popcorn, candy and locally sourced soda at the concession stand for ridiculously low prices! Plus the staff at the theater will be decorating for the holidays! Here are the upcoming showtimes and ticket prices. Friday and Saturday night are the red carpet events with food and music, but Just Hitched will be on the screen for a full run so if you're unable to make the evening showings, you'll still have a chance to see the film!

Mark of the Crystal Box Office Theatre and I have come together to bring another live show to our community. This time the theater will be featuring Tachyon Groove. They are a local band with a ton of talent and a positive theme to their music. Their performance will be the pre show entertainment for the world premiere of Just Hitched, a film created by a more local and independent group of film makers. It's very exciting to see all of this buzz about something going on in our community.

It's been interesting to work with the Carson City Historical Society! I've learned a lot about the history of where I live and work. I've also had the honor of preserving some pieces of our history by doing photo restorations! Here's a sample of some of the work I've been doing for them. Okay, so I am absolutely thrilled to be telling you this. We have been talking with the owners of the Crystal Box Office Theatre

and worked out a time to sponsor a free movie for the community! December 10th and 11th at 7:30pm! So beyond excited to be able to do this.

From the sounds of it, December 11th, there will be a lot going on over there. There will be a breakfast with Santa followed by a free classic Christmas movie sponsored by the Uptown Bar/Cafe

"A Playground During a Pandemic"

"Deserted streets and empty lawns.
"Where have all the people gone?"
Sheltered in place or staying at home,
They probably didn't see me as I roamed.
I came across a playground
That was eerily still.
Without children's laughter
It gave me the chills.
This day seemed somehow darker
With thick clouds of gray.
I thought I should go
But decided to stay.
On the toys
Rust and silver,
Alike shined through.
As the only reminder,
Of the fun that they knew.
They contrasted wildly
To the sleek seamless signs.
That hostilely suggested
I ought to go inside.
At the basketball court,
Just footprints remained.
All around the park,
The story was the same.

All a stiflingly
Vacant domain."
