Returning to the gridiron following the conclusion of the KHSAA Dead Period, Trimble County kicked off preseason practice on Monday, July 10.

Trimble County’s practices for the opening week of the 2023 high school football preseason were slated for Monday-Friday, from 6-8 p.m. daily.

Police continued searching Monday for a suspect who used blue flashing lights to pull over a woman July 8 in Trimble County, Trimble County Sheriff Charles Kelton confirmed.

The suspect, described as a 5-foot 10-inch white male wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans, allegedly pulled over the female at U.S. 421 and Burton Hill Road. He was driving a black Dodge Challenger which was fitted with blue lights – lights allowed for use only by law enforcement.
