New Release Day! "You Don't Wanna Even Change (Carseat Mix)"

From Brendan Macie: "Figured I’d share something we’re working on from the latest batch of songs. It’s incomplete (there’ll be plenty more guitars on it by the time we’re done) but I liked the raw mix we got for the scratch track too much not to share!"

Lots of folks I've played it for have had a visceral feeling for the song, reminding them of a number of different favorite bands. How about you?

New Release Day! Liri Ronen's "Traveling" is an uptempo evocative song that will take you places.

This one has been a bit of a journey, beginning with recording Fuel Allowance's "And Climb" (of whom Liri is a member) a year ago, after which Liri returned to record his three song solo EP.

Liri is an incredible musician and was a joy to work with. I am quite proud of the final product - please give it a listen and share! (Link in comments)

Got the Behringer Xtouch talking to the XR18 mixer today. This’ll definitely be a nice add to the live rig, especially for monitor mixes. Or maybe it’d be cool to get a big battery pack and make it a totally wireless FOH board?

New Release Day! The Yardarm and I have been buds for a good while now and they've always thrown down for any of my crazy music ideas.

This album is a result of a ton of work on their part, completely recorded by them, and I was honored to be asked to do the digital mastering on it.

And that’s a wrap! Tracking is complete on ’s songs, now on to the mix. Liri’s brother came in to lay down some sweet banjo sounds as well.
The past two weeks have been a unique experience. Liri is an amazing musician and a wonderful person, and I fully enjoyed applying the work + fun equation with him. Wish him luck with his audition for the Philadelphia Opera this week!
