Dwight Wyatt thrives in processes – inside the office and outside. That’s great for the senior staff accountant, great for TVF, and critical for his next big role: first time father. “My overall – and this is every day – is trying to find ways to identify processes that we can establish efficiency within the accounting and finance department… That's a constant thing.”
Dwight has been with TVF since early-2023 and he’s quite humble about his skills. “I tell people this all the time: accounting is not hard,” he says. “It's more about organization, planning, analysis and tracking involved to assist in the decision-making process. So, as long as you're an organized and insightful person, you can do accounting.”
Outside the office, process and personal improvement permeate Dwight’s activities, too. He’s heavily into fitness, optimizing his nutrition, and challenging himself to be 1% better everyday. Spartan Race competitions are one of his newest endeavors. Dwight is also a foodie, a fashion afficionado, and enjoys off-roading and roadtrips in his Jeep. He loves quality time with his girlfriend, family, and friends. With a daughter on the way, Dwight is excited about experiencing the world with his growing family through future travel.
Dwight embraced employee ownership from the very start. “Everybody’s kind of an open door… willing to let me ask any type of questions. TVF is definitely a breath of fresh air.” He adds that he’s also been impressed with the longevity of his fellow employee owners… many of whom have been with TVF for multiple decades.
TVF recently refreshed our company-wide Core Values, and Dwight says he identifies most with “Embrace an Ownership Mindset,” which he likes because it builds a culture of accountability. The other four Core Values are: Seek Progress Over Perfection, Communicate with Care and Clarity, Help People Succeed, and Put Relationships First.
