IMPORTANT: Our community has always been others-focused — and I can’t thank you enough for being those kinds of people.
With that said, PLEASE READ carefully:
I work in Philadelphia on a regular basis, and while I could say a lot politically right now, I won’t. What I will say is this: next month, it’s very likely that millions of children will go hungry due to food stamps not being issued.
Because our community always steps up when there’s a need, I’m asking for everyone who’s willing to help.
I’m going to partner with a local Walmart in Philly to purchase the largest amount of food possible for the lowest cost — and hand it out directly to families (with children) who otherwise wouldn’t have enough to eat.
