Oh, you are so lucky. You *thought* there was a Murphysboro basketball game tonight, and thus at best a truncated version of '80s HADES. A runt, if you will. But the icy conditions have shut that game down, so you'll get a full two-hour helping of '80s HADES tonight. You can expect some Icehouse (of course), Colourbox, ZZ Top, Let's Active, Asia and the usual "much more". 6-8 p.m. Central!

Nothing changes on New Year's Day, but '80s HADES will be on the air New Year's Eve! It'll be an all-new show this evening. Literally -- "new" is the first word in the title of every song in tonight's playlist. How can you turn that down? It is time! A Very Special ‘80s HADES Christmas dashes, dances, prances and vixens onto the airwaves this evening at 6 p.m. Central. It’s the 24th Anniversary Edition, on December 24, 2024. It’s a magical nexus, so unless you want to jinx your holidays, you should probably listen. All of your ‘80s holiday favorites shall be featured*. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Blessed Kwanzaa and Dodgy** Boxing Day to you!

* - No, they won’t. I mean, unless your only favorite is “Christmas Wrapping” or “2000 Miles” or “Fairytale of New York”, in which case I’ve got you covered.

I hate to be that guy, but I regret to inform you that '80s HADES is ceding the airwaves to Murphysboro Red Devils basketball this evening. But hang in there! '80s HADES will return on December 10 at the usual time, and we'll start to let the '80s Christmas tunes trickle out as we march toward A Very Special '80s HADES Christmas (24th Anniversary Edition) on Christmas Eve! Go Terriers!
