Keep an eye to the sky tomorrow evening. An approaching cold front may be just strong enough to touch off some thunderstorms. With very warm and humid air in place, these storms could produce some strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Three people are dead and multiple injured after an early morning tornado.

The NWS will eventually do a survey. However, judging by the impressive radar signature and pictures of wind damage sent via social media, there is reason to believe that this morning's tornado may have initially touched down in Carter County and sliced through Wayne County before hitting the town of Glenn Allen in Bollinger County about 3:30 this morning. Of course we'll know more when they have a chance to do the official survey.
