Deep Within won Best Experimental Short (POC), including Best Cinematography, Best Producer, and Best Director at Great Lakes at Christian Film Festival in Buffalo, New York, tonight.

And Carols at Christmas (Hallmark RomCom is now a Finalist at Austin Comedy Film Festival.

Milton update:

Cape Coral faired fairly well. We did not get the catastrophic surge. We did get powerful wind gusts last evening- but overall much better outcome than Hurricane Ian. (Maybe because there wasn’t anything left to knock down).

Branches down but not trees.
Stop signs down but not stop lights.

Fort Myers Beach is flooded again
Sanibel same (not accessible at this time)
Pine Island same (not accessible at this time)

I fear it is a much worse prognosis for the counties north of us.

Over 100 tornadoes in Florida yesterday.
So medium hurricane damage widespread and small areas of total devastation.

About half of Florida (the entire state) is without power. (Including me)

Wind sheer cut Milton’s power down greatly. Wind sheer/holy Spirit? 😬

Kathy and Karissa intend on returning Friday.
Karissa’s house is fine. She even has power!

Tomorrow is the first Zoom Table Read for my Hallmark/GAC Family-style script "The Carols at Christmas". We have a great read-thru cast lined up thanks to Jean Wenger of Treasure Coast Talents and Laura Mae from ChristianCasting.com.

On an unrelated note, doesn't anybody have contact with Dolly, Reba, or Shania? We've got a great Cameo for one of them! :)

ATTENTION SINGERS!

Beyond Entertainment, Inc. is hosting another Ensemble Vocal Recording Session for our musical demo of The Czar of Hollywood (The Musical). We need good voices, 18-30, male and female to sing the background parts for a few songs.

Monday Night, June 24th, 6pm-8:30pm at the newly renovated Beyond Studios in Cape Coral.

We will rehearse a chorus, then record it. Then rehearse another one and record it, etc. This session will include:
Rocky Road (50's Rock)
Shine! (Country Gospel)
Big Shot (Big Band)
Just Look Up (Soft Pop)

This is an unpaid gig, but you will be provide with snacks and refreshments and have a blast taking selfies of yourself recording in a recording studio!
