4. It’s 3 days of prayer for all souls.
5. It’s been celebrated since the 4th century.
6. The celebration starts on Halloween Night!
7. Trick or Treating came from England during the Catholic persecution.
8. Dressing up came from the French during the 15th century.
9. It had nothing to do with Samhain.
10. The Irish craved turnups, once in America, they carved pumpkins.
11. It is not the Devil's Holiday- So don’t let him have it!
12. Dia Day Los Murtes in Central and South America, Spain, and Italy is another way of celebrating this beautiful triduum
13. It’s a time to remember our loved ones and pray for them. They need our prayers just as much now as they did while they were here with us!

How do you start a new routine?
1. Pick just one thing to change at a time. Trying to change too many things at once will lead to failure.
2. Change your environment to make it ready for the new routine or habit. For example, If you want to meditate, create a calming space by removing distractions.
3. Make the first change an easy one. Then you can build from there.
4. Don't give up if you miss a day, just pick up where you left off and try again.
5. Celebrate your progress! If your goals are small enough you will have a better chance of succeeding and building on them.

"As I walked up the steps to my front door, I suddenly felt drained, I could feel the need for a nice hot bath in the whirlpool bath tub and a glass of wine coming on. It would be great if I had someone to share the bath with but I don’t. Unfortunately, I plan other people’s fairy tale endings, but not my own. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to settle on my cat to keep me company. " 🐱
