American Jib is proud to be part of the Fox Sports broadcast of the NFL Conference Championship game on January 28. Kelli Touré and Mara Vanhovel will be providing the broadcast with live Jib-Arm shots from the Watch Party at Ford Field. Wally Sczcubailka will make the ones and zeros get to Los Angeles in proper order.

In spring, Kelli Touré and I embarked on the journey of creating a new camera support system. Our path was filled with unexpected twists and turns, but tomorrow, it will make its way to the studio for a photoshoot by Michael Guimond. Soon, it will be unveiled to the world of production!

An industry rule of thumb is that every minute on set is worth at least $1,000 on an average production. That means that if we can shave thirty seconds off building our Jib-Arm every morning, we will have saved the production at least $500 a day. Even cutting out five seconds by programming a camera function to a quick shortcut button will save about $83.
