Justin had a packed schedule this past weekend, juggling work commitments from Monday to Friday and hosting wedding guests on Saturday and Sunday. Understandably, he's feeling a bit worn out come Monday. However, the heartfelt appreciation expressed by Kyle and others for Justin's efforts truly makes it all worthwhile. A big thank you to Kyle for letting On the Mic and Justin contribute to their special wedding celebration.

On Saturday we had 8 DJ's out entertaining wedding guests all over NE Ohio. Brian had a great group at The Ponds Venue in Navarre. The Bride and Groom were the life of the party. Even jumping behind the DJ booth and learning a new skill. ENTERTAINMENT! Thanks for letting us be part of your wedding ceremony and reception!

It looks like the bride really wanted to get into the groove at her wedding reception! Taking charge of the DJ booth with headphones on, Jessica wanted to ensure her favorite tunes were played. She was truly the center of the party and knew exactly how to entertain her guests. It was definitely a unique and memorable way to celebrate her special day! I think we may have found our next event host/DJ.

Celebrating their love in true galactic style, the couple tied the knot with a Star Wars-themed wedding on May the 4th. From droids to Jedi robes, every detail was meticulously crafted to transport guests to a galaxy far, far away. The Force was strong with this wedding, as they embarked on their journey together amidst lightsabers and starry backdrops. Ed and Michael worked in several hits from the cantina theme to the Imperial March. They are both (Jedi) Masters of their craft!

Swinging by the@fairlesshighschool PROM this past Saturday night was a blast. The students flooded the dance floor, enjoying every moment. Throughout the night, we collaborated closely with the staff to ensure the music was both fitting and exhilarating. The bass reverberated all evening! Keream, you rocked it! Let's introduce you to some of the remarkable women at On the Mic Entertainment. Abby and Bri are two of our dynamic young staff members who manage our photo booths every weekend. While the DJ often takes the spotlight, these ladies interact with all our guests effortlessly. They ensure smooth operations with our photo booths and ensure that the bride and groom have a fantastic scrapbook filled with the night's photos and messages from their loved ones. Today is also National Teachers Day. Both of there women attend the The University of Akron and are studying to become teachers. Abby is a Freshman and Bri just graduated in 2023. Abby is also an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and leads new students on their campus tours.

Two more fresh faces join the team: Michael and Alex, though they arrive slightly later than the rest, their arrival promises an instant influence. Their shared passion for music and dedication to upholding the esteemed 5 Star tradition set by our predecessors is unmistakable.

They step into the shoes of legends like Jessie, David, Adam, Donny, and James, among others, carrying forward their remarkable legacy. These outstanding individuals have guided countless couples over the years, and I have no doubt that our new recruits will continue to do the same.

Devin’s road was unknown to us when he first started. He started working with his big brother at events as an assistant before we ever knew about him. Some secrets are not meant to stay hidden from the light. He interviewed, and it was apparent that he leaned allot in a very short time. He quickly progressed to working the board and entertaining crowds as a DJ. Picking and choosing songs that would keep people of all ages on the dance floor is what he was great at. He started working on his microphone skills and he has been a complete entertainer ever since. With hundreds of events under his belt, he can entertain just about any crowd. Whether he is working a school dance, a Harley Davidson dealership party, or a wedding reception, Devin adjusts with ease. Entertaining everyone and making friends along the way. He’s easy to get along with and is genuinely great person. Make sure to ask him about his very first event on his own. It’s a great story of overcoming adversity and transforming it into a success.
