When someone struggles with self-created problems, I used to think I needed to solve their dilemma or at the very least advise them about what they should do. Today I’m better at letting them assume responsibility for their choices and the consequences that come from them. My supportive, “You’ll know what to do,” affirms their worth as they take ownership of their lives.

Fully Human, Fully Spiritual with Richard Burdick | Conscious Life Journal

"To affect the changes so necessary to our future, we must reunite with a greater truth beneath the surface of the effects.

𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆, 𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻.

It may have been forgotten, but it is as vibrant and intact as it has been since the beginning of time. It is the place of causal reality, sometimes known as the root, source, and nucleus of all creation. Sometimes it is known as the quantum field and, many times, it is known by the name God. Labels are less important than our awareness of its presence and power to heal.

Today, I will call it 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. It is a holy chalice of consciousness that holds the answers we seek.

When our calls for restoration spring from anger and fear, the healing balm we seek forever eludes us and we remain in an eternal state of howling victimhood. When they are founded within this vessel, the remedies for the ills of human existence are poured out.

𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺.

The Silence, The Quiet, and The Harmony Point | Conscious Life Journal

𝗔 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

✦Enter a meditative posture.

✦Complete a short breathing meditation.

✦With eyes closed, listen for something occurring in your surroundings.

✦Acknowledge the sound, then listen for something else occurring in your surroundings.

✦Repeat this process, until all sounds in your environment have been heard and acknowledged.

✦Keep focused on listening, even when you aren’t hearing anything new.

✦You have just entered The Quiet. It is that place where all hearing attention-seekers have been quieted, and you are at peace, listening but hearing nothing.

"𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲.

Quantum physics proves that whether you see with your eyes, or close your eyes and imagine something, the synapses in your brain fire in the exact same way.

They have also found there are 40,000 more thoughts per day that we have on a subconscious level than on a conscious level.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

Imagine you just went through a break-up and you are heartbroken.

You are hurt and begin to feel unwanted, unloved, undeserving.

These feelings form the belief (the bubble that you subconsciously believe) that you can’t trust men or women, that you are unlovable, or that relationships hurt. This is when you put up shields to protect yourself, living in a wounded haze as you go through life.

You are blocking the true essence of your being.

The Inner Tribe: Taking Inner Child Work a Step Further | Conscious Life Journal

"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻, 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.

And it may be the twenty-seven-year-old you, or the forty-two-year old you. In reality, we can experience moments of trauma at any point in our lives, and potentially that moment can be “trapped in amber” with a part of ourselves trapped along with it.

In 2007, I discovered that the application of Inner Child work to adult parts of self was very effective, with a twist. At the time, an aspect of my psyche was calling for my attention. A psychological, emotional boundary had been crossed by a family member when I was in my twenties that I had not processed and healed.

That aspect of self was now banging on the walls of my inner house at age forty-one, when I needed to hold a boundary with that same family member. It was asking to be brought home, integrated into my psyche, and honored for its challenging journey.

And the twist? In the work, I had to meet the adult part as a loving aspect of Spirit. I essentially had to “parent” that adult part of self by representing the feminine face of God, or Great Mother.

By nurturing the split-off part, and utilizing a specific set of questions and protocol in what I named the Inner Tribe Technique, I was able to achieve integration and healing 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.
