I would like to thank everyone for your prayers, phone calls, and concern to me and my family during the flood. I would like to thank my mom, Brenda Henry, my sister, Robbie Thornton (in Australia) and all others that helped make the Benton Beacon, May issue possible. As most of you know, we lost our home, our dog, computers, and everything to the devestating flood. Life goes on...one day at a time. Thank You, Sheri

*Amish Auction* 5th Annual Consignment Auction will be Thur. Apr. 29th beginning at 9am. Location: 1540 Hwy 219 (Rosser Rd.) Huntingdon, TN. All proceeds benefit the Amish School. Breakfast from 6-9am. Lunch and Home Made Baked Goods available. This is one you won't want to miss.

I have also spent many an hour thinking about the direction I would like the Benton Beacon to go in, to make it something absolutely unique. I will be making some pretty exciting changes and announcements in the next few months. And I am very fortunate to have so many wonderful people helping to make this possible.
