Recently, all federal funding for the United States Agency for International Development has been paused after President Trump’s executive order halting almost all federal aid. to assess the efficiency and consistency of the aid with U.S. foreign policy. A little history behind NATO is that the alliance was created in response to the Cold War, and all decisions made by NATO are meant to reflect the group as a whole.
