One day or day one.. you choose! Last year at this time I could barely finished a mile and today I had my best time yet on my first 5K race and I didn’t have to stop!!

It was a perfect way to start out Thanksgiving! 🦃

Now on to the next one! Happy thanksgiving everyone!

This past weekend I had the privilege of packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child! It was so much fun getting to pack boxes and write notes for each child getting a box!

Figuring out what you want to do for the rest of your life in high school can be very daunting. It’s fun to be a part of a group where we want to help and encourage the highschoolers learn about new jobs they didn’t know about. Letting them know it’s okay if they don’t know what they want to do quit yet!

Also giving back to the place I grew up going to school is an added plus!

This past week really brings back memories from when I was a 4Her. It was Monday of fair week and I was always excited to do my projects, decorate my stall, and have fun with my horse and all my friends for the week to come.

Now that my time has past (and I’m to old) I am so happy that my sister and let my niece follow in the footsteps of riding her horse, and bringing her mini to the fair and being in 4H.

As a 4Her you really learn a lot, you build character and have fun especially with your animals. And as I have tears in my eyes wishing I could go back I’m so happy to watch the other kids get to do it!

I am proud to have been a 4Her and now 4H volunteer. ❤️
