I can be such a good boyfriend. I don't give a f**k if my
friends
think I'm 'whipped' or not. I like to make my girl happy, so
what? If
my girl needs tampons, I'll go get her some without feeling
embarrassed. If my girl wants to play around & put make-
up on me
or paint my nails for fun, sure, why not? (But I will NOT
leave the
house looking like that, nor can you take pictures lol.) If my

wants me to stop talking to certain girls, I will. It's not that I

You visit Kenyatta National Hospital and walk through the 6th floor…
You suddenly realize how small our daily worries truly are.
No one there is talking about money, careers, big dreams or ambitions.

On ward 5B, an exhausted cancer patient is holding on to hope one more day.
On the 8th floor, someone’s organs are failing — their only dream now is simply to walk again.
At ward 3C, a patient wishes for just enough strength to wake up and whisper a prayer.
At ward 2A, someone’s greatest desire is not wealth or success…
but to see their children and family one more time.

And as you take the lift down to leave, reality hits even harder —
you pass three bodies being taken to the morgue, lives ended too soon, dreams silenced forever. 😔💔

Today… before you complain, before you stress over what you don’t have,
pause.
Appreciate breath, strength, family, health.

"Yesterday, rushing home to rest after work. As soon as I opened the gate, I saw my 6-year-old daughter lying on the veranda. The door was wide open. ‎​I rushed closer, thinking she was asleep, but she wasn't moving. My heart stopped. I ran inside, past her, to get water &that's when I saw my other 2 girls. My 4-year-old was also unconscious, & my 9-year-old, the oldest, was weak & fading fast. It was pure, absolute horror. ‎​My husband wasn't back from work. Confused & pan!cking, I scrambled to check on them.

I managed to ask my oldest daughter what happened. With a weak voice, she pointed & whispered that our next-door neighbor the single mother with the 3-year-old boy had given them food. ‎​She said the neighbor asked her to bring over an empty plate. She returned with Jollof rice. And about 10 minutes after they ate, all 3 girls started screaming about terr!ble stomach aches. Still, shaking, confused & not knowing what exactly to do at that moment, i screamed for help.

A few neighbors came out after hearing my voice but the specific lady did not show up. They supported me & we rushed them all to the hospital immediately. At the hospital, I received the news no mother should ever hear: My two little girls, my 4-year-old & my 6-year-old, have passed away. They are gone. 😭😭😭

‎​The doctors later tested the rice they ate & confirmed it was laced with 'pyozn'. ‎​My eldest daughter is the only one left, but she's still fighting. She is currently in a coma, & every minute feels like forever.

‎​The police interviewed the neighbor, but she denies everything. She claims she never gave the children food & didn't even cook Jollof rice that day. They searched her house, but found nothing to prove her guilty. She's insisted she never gave my children food, meanwhile my daughter told me she did before she passed out. i don't even know what els to do concerning the case as I'm left confused ...

Former Sudanese MP and human rights activist Siham Hassan was executed by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militiamen in El Fashir, the capital of North Darfur, Sudan. The RSF seized control of El Fashir after an 18-month siege, the last major city in Darfur under Sudanese army control.

Hassan was widely recognized for her community kitchens that fed the hungry during the conflict and for her outspoken advocacy for women’s rights. She was among the numerous civilians executed in a spree by RSF forces following their takeover. As the youngest member to serve in Sudan’s parliament, Hassan stayed in the besieged city to support those suffering despite the grave risks from militias known for human rights abuses.

Her death has spurred tributes portraying her as a martyr and symbol of resistance. The RSF’s actions have sparked international alarm over war crimes and the worsening humanitarian crisis in the region.
