Per Tommy Burrough, MCPS Superintendent: "As we watch daily concerning the COVID positivity rate in our county and in our schools, it is very clear that we are needing to try to intervene the spread. Today we have over 20% of our kids absent in the district either being sick, COVID positive, or quarantined. Also, due to multiple staff being out in every building and a lack of substitute teachers, starting tomorrow (Wednesday) through Friday, McLean County Schools will be participating in NTI days. Your school will reach out to you concerning your school activities. There will not be school meals served during the NTI days."

From MCPS: McLean County Public Schools will be using a NTI day tomorrow, Friday January 7 due to inclement weather. Students will receive their instruction via google classroom from their teachers.
