Let's talk for a minute.

It's a trigger-word to a lot of Christians today. But (in our humble opinion) the ones triggered by the word don't fully grasp what it is exactly. A healthy deconstruction is not coming in with a wrecking ball or a bulldozer & completely leveling your faith. Although sometimes it feels that way! Rather, a healthy Deconstruction is carefully coming in & examing each 'brick' that makes up the structure of your faith. At times, this can lead to a full (or almost full) collapse of your faith, if there are a lot of bricks in your faith that are made of 'junk.'

We think the misconception comes in that some view Deconstruction as a complete leveling of your faith. Flatten the structure & start all over. But that's not necessarily true. For me personally (Nathan) the end result was darn near a complete rebuild, but that is not always the case. However, upon my reconstruction, my faith is now more firm & true & sure. Rather than being built on shifting sand, the foundation is now built upon the Rock. The Firm Foundation.

Lastly, I'd just like to say that, we both agree that not everyone is at a place for a healthy Deconstruction. We have talked numerous times amongst ourselves about not trying to push people to deconstruct before they're ready to do so. As, taking of the fruit out of season, could lead to a poisoning, so to speak.

We love you guys & just once again want to thank all our supporters for your love & encouragement & support. We both truly believe that this show has to potential to reach a crowd of people in a positive way & show that there is a healthy path back to faith, even when it feels like there is nothing left but a pile of rubble.
