Last night, the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards Presented by Variety celebrated the visionary artists who help tell stories through their crafts, including our very own Chris O’Hara!
Veteran stunt coordinator and president of Stunts Unlimited O’ Hara is the epitome of the unsung Hollywood hero — working in a discipline that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has
yet to recognize with an Oscar, although the Screen Actors Guild Awards do have a stunt category.
However, earlier this year, SAG and Directors Guild of America approved the first-ever credit of “stunt designer.” O’Hara earned the inaugural title on “The Fall Guy.”
Chris was presented the award by “The Fall Guy” director and former stuntman, David Leitch.

Turns out we have two Guinness World Record holders in the group! In 2023 Andy was awarded the world record for stuntman/stunt co-ordinator whose movies have grossed the most at the worldwide box office.
Andy Gill's films have earned a combined total of $12.2 billion (£10 billion) as of 13 January 2023. His resumé includes major blockbusters such as Captain America: Civil War (USA, 2016), Black Panther (USA, 2018) and the four most recent Fast & Furious movies, as well as the new Fast X (USA, 2023).
Gill is a member of the Directors Guild of American (DGA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and Stunts Unlimited. As of November 2023, his most recent credit was as Stunt Co-ordinator for Gran Turismo (USA, 2023).

A cannon roll is when the driver fires off a canon built into the underside of the car that shoots a piston (or a cut telephone pole back in the day ) into the ground which causes the car to launch up in the air and flip over. (Imagine being in a 5,000 lb washing machine going 80mph 😳)
