We have gotten a blessing to see snow in an accumulation here in South Georgia that is a rare occurrence! It’s sure is beautiful! I have never seen this accumulation on our farm . I know it happened in 1989, but I was not living here at the time. I have never been in snowfall in person except in small amounts. What’s treat to see!

Feeling a little better this week so we got a few things done this weekend around the farm… one was preparing for the extremely cold weather that the forecasters are predicting for our weather this weekend around… once thing to be done was wind blocking for our Macy… this is until we can afford to enclose it in fully.

Macey is enjoying her new area of her paddock…. We are done with the shell of the new barn, waiting to add the exterior to it as we can. My husband has been the force behind this as I have had some health issues since Thanksgiving, so he has done this pretty much by his self but woth some
Help of our daughter’s boyfriend putting on the final sheets of the roof. He has fence wire on the outside to allow for some use for now.

Progress has been made on the farm, although slow as my husband has been taking care of things on his own with being under the weather for over a week! Andrew more sheets of tin to complete the roof and then we will work on enclosing it in for feed storage and a stall when needed in addition to the corral panels.
