Managing motherhood & entrepreneurship can be difficult, but I make it easier by breaking my days into four blocks: morning, work, evening, night.
I share my morning block yesterday so go check that out!
This is my work block. Iām okay with my kids seeing me on technology during this time because I believe itās important to witness hard work being done. And my daughter loves helping where she can.
As for screens, she ONLY gets her tablet during Henryās nap and maybe during snacks. And she stays where I can see her to make sure sheās doing āschool appsā. Weāve been loving the free kids Duolingo app recently, sheās learning to read so fast because of it!
Then we do a craft or activity. If weather is nice they go outside. And as a last resort Iāll turn a non-stimulating educational show on tv for them so I can finish my work. We love Blippi, Bluey, Little Bear, Franklin, and Daniel Tiger.
During this work block, I prioritize my non-negotiables first. My top income producing tasks that have to be done daily. Then if I have time I start extra work. Today I was able to start outlining my next digital product.

I essentially break my days into 4 blocks:
Morning, Work, Evening, Night.
My morning block usually consists of:
ā¢homeschool
ā¢cleaning
ā¢co-op/ play dates /activities
ā¢bible & prayers
ā¦ and just spending time with my kiddos.
With my husband traveling to California for 4 days, we wanted to watch the news for the weather. And then the kids get about 10-20 minutes of Blippi at lunch so I can sit and take a breath and eat haha. Other than that, they donāt get tv time.
Jemma is a big helper with her chores, she will clean hers and her brotherās room and help with feeding the animals and unloading the dishwasher.
Tomorrow Iāll show you what my work block looks like as my goal is to help show the real life BTS of balancing motherhood & entrepreneurship.

Definitely recommend checking out @theharleyjordan and her personality chat sheās been having over there! Surprised to find out Iām a deer but Iām going to hone into it and embrace my natural empathic side more! Just a reminder for Christian moms, it only becomes unbiblical when you associate with the results of personality assessments more than you do being a child of God.
God gave me the strength of being an empath and allowed me to go through the childhood I experienced so I can be here now to share this with you, and I firmly believe that.š¤
Now, with all of that being said, welcome to the side of the internet where we will have the hard conversations that Christian moms need, and this is a safe place for you to beš«¶š»

If you want to make sourdough for your family while keeping it SIMPLE and NOT overwhelming, Iāve got just the thing.
And no, Iām not talking about crazy feeding ratios, insane ābread rulesā or even starting your own starter from scratch.
Iām talking about making homemade, delicious sourdough perfect for your family in the easiest way possible.
I was given an already made starter when I started my journey and that in itself made everything so much easier. Then I perfected a recipe with the easiest possible forming method, the BEST baking time, and the whole process takes less than 5 minutes of hands-on work TOTAL. All of that simplifying has allowed me to make delicious sourdough bread and dozens of discard recipes to feed my family daily!
And you bet I will teach you EXACTLY how you can learn this process and start making your own sourdough at home too.
Comment SOURDOUGH below and Iāll send you the link to join my Sourdough Made Simple course & community so you can get started making sourdough THIS WEEK!
Ps- what I teach in Sourdough Made Simple is exactly how I make sourdough daily at home.
And donāt forget to grab the offer of having dehydrated sourdough starter shipped straight to your door too! You can have bubbling, active starter in just a couple of days rather than waiting the 10-25 day period of making your own from scratch.
Itās never too lateā¦
When I miscarried, someone said āyour body just wasnāt readyā. And I have other opinions on why thatās not something to say to someone, but that did stick with me and become a pillar for me making homemade foods to heal my hormones.
And now itās been over a year since I started making sourdough and scratch foods, and my life will never be the same.š
In the last year I have:
-Made countless delicious, healthy recipes from scratch using my sourdough & discard.
-Started teaching other women how to make sourdough at home and how to keep the process SIMPLE.
-Iām now 5 months pregnant with my healthiest pregnancy so far.š«¶š»
Iām not saying sourdough is why we got pregnant. But I do give credit to the healthier eating styles weāve had since sourdough as to one of the reasons this pregnancy has remained as healthy as it is so farš¤
So how in the world did I do all of this in a year?
First, I learned everything I could about sourdough.
THEN, I simplified it all so it wouldnāt feel so overwhelming. And now Iām so confident in every recipe I make and love sharing this skill with other women.
My journey hasnāt been perfect. And pregnancy cravings have for sure had their control this go aroundš But Iām not exaggerating when I say sourdough has changed my familyās life.
Want to learn exactly how you can confidently make simple sourdough at home?
Comment the word SOURDOUGH below and Iāll send you the link to join my Sourdough Made Simple waitlist for my new digital course launching in ONE WEEK!
PS- everyone on the waitlist will get $10 off the course price. And my students from my in person workshops so far have shared many testimonies on their bread making journeys since learning the art of sourdoughš«¶š»
While the world is teaching us to question Godās word, change for the sake of progression even if itās against Godās word, forget traditional family values, put careers before family, let the government teach our children and dictate our health, emasculate men, and destroy the true value of being a womanā¦ my family is over here doing the exact opposite.
We are:
ā¢Teaching our children the beautiful and amazing truths of God and His word.
ā¢Learning self-sufficiency
ā¢Homeschooling our children
ā¢Growing and making our own food
ā¢Finding pure happiness and joy in slower living
We arenāt perfect by any means. But I do really love this life we are building and am thankful to God for the blessings and lessons He provides.

When I first went to an Orthodox Church and saw all the kids in church with their parents, I wonāt lie, I got nervous.š¬ My Protestant self was use to taking my kids to Sunday school while the adults attended church. I had no idea how my kids would behave in the church.
But when I tell you this is one of my FAVORITE things now is having my children with me in liturgyā¦š
Jesus loved children so much. Now instead of running towards bubbles and toys in a room, my children run to the choir loft to sing with me. My son brings his incense toy because he wants to walk around with the deacon and priest to bless and cleanse the church.
They come to everything with us. Liturgies, Vespers (prayer services), Pascha (our Easter service which goes overnight), and even confession. My husband or I will keep the kids with whoever is not actively confessing but they still come to the church and know what we are doing.
Since this, I have never seen my kids love being in a church so much. But even at home, they ALWAYS want to do prayers. Jemma is always talking about Jesus. Henry walks around with his incense toy at home just singing and kissing every single icon of ours. Iām just SO THANKFUL for the experiences and knowledge and LOVE of Jesus that they are building at such a young age since we joined Orthodoxy.
Our current priest has a 3 year old son thatās already helping him serve in the alter and I LOVE watching him get to experience that with his dad. I cannot wait for Henry to get just a little older to do the same.
Now itās not easy. We sometimes miss the entire sermon soothing a crying child, changing diapers, or nursing a baby. The children want to run, they donāt always behave perfectly. THEY ARE KIDS.
But they are watching. They are learning. They are experiencing. And THAT is what matters. That foundation being set at a young age. Iām just so thankful for it completely and itās arguably my favorite part of Orthodoxy since converting.
