Fellow believers, greetings in Christ’s holy name.

I have often promoted Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) here in our ministry page, spreading the news as to what enrolling in their "free" online seminary program can afford anyone with a desire to obtain either an Associate or Bachelor of Divinity degree.

I personally attend CLI, and attest to their high-caliber of academia, from their professors/instructors who are all ordained ministers, to the top-notch training materials, all provided to their students who enroll for their online religious studies and their degree programs.

If you've been called by God to minister His Word, and you are unsure of the next step to take, CLI will help you sharpen your skills and vastly increase your knowledge in Theology.

If you're already a minister and either wish to sharpen your skills and knowledge, or obtain a divinity degree, and seek ordination, you too can achieve your goals through CLI.

Check them out, you won't lose a thing, and it will be worth effort to do so.

Bless you, go in peace.

Fellow believers, greetings in Christ’s holy name.

While sitting in my kitchen this evening awaiting my venison roost to finish cooking, to go along with a batch of fresh boiled cabbage with ham hock, and fresh fried squash, the Spirit moved me to record a song written/recorded by Contemporary Christian artist Stephen McWhirther, entitled "Come, Jesus, Come." Oh, how I pray He does, and soon.

I hope you enjoy it, and I thank you for your time; blessings.

Sermon Entitled: "Do Not Remove the Ancient Landmarks"

Fellow believers, greetings in Christ’s holy name.

I’m Evangelist Bill King, Senior Pastor for our ministry. On behalf of our associate pastors, we welcome you to church, and we appreciate you allowing us to share God’s Holy Word with you today, in worshiping and praising our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. May God’s love, mercy, and grace rain down on you forever, and may He use this message for enacting His will on earth. Amen.

Our message pulls from the Old Testament books of Deuteronomy and Proverbs, focusing on the use of ancient landmarks in regard to marking property/boundary lines, God’s punishment; His curse upon anyone removing or destroying them, and how this concept applies to all God’s children, not just the Jews of olde.

Point of Message: Some things are not to be disturbed, repositioned, erased, or obliterated, regardless of the circumstances. For by doing so, whomever, be it an individual or nation, is responsible will be called into account by God, and His wrath rain down upon them.

Our references are Deuteronomy 19:14, Deuteronomy 27:17, Proverbs 22:28, and Proverbs 23:10-11, as found in the New King James Version of the Holy Bible and listed in order of precedence in their use in this message. Bless you.

Now, on with our message:

The ancient Israelites, once having been freed from over 400 years of Egyptian enslavement by God the Father’s mighty prophet, Moses, and his priestly brother, Aaron, led across the River Jordan into the Promised Land of Canaan by Moses’ successor, Joshua, and having successfully eradicated most of the pagan communities within, while subjugating the remainder (contrary to God the Father’s instructions to exterminate them), soon settled into a predominantly agricultural and herdsmen lifestyle/existence, with livestock, i.e., cattle, sheep, goats, etc., being prized possessions.

As livestock owners/herdsmen, possession/ownership of land was extremely important, as it was the land which enabled them to not only grow food items necessary to feed and nourish their livestock, but to provide sustenance for themselves and their families as well. The more land/property and livestock a man owned/controlled, the wealthier he was considered, for as the trade/barter system was the primary means of obtaining (purchasing) goods/products: a man’s worth/value was directly proportional to the numbers of livestock he owned (each sheep, goat, and cow was worth their weight in gold). Being dependent upon land owned/controlled for grazing their livestock, establishing ownership, and marking boundaries of properties was crucial.

The Jewish method of marking land/property boundaries was simple: property lines/boundaries were marked by placing large stones atop each other, to provide a visual indicator to all. These markers (landmarks) were erected on the perimeters of their properties and were considered sacred; not to be removed. In this manner, land disputes and theft of properties were minimized.

It’s interesting to note that as far back as during the Judean/Sinai Wilderness trial, wherein Moses and Aaron led the ancient Israelites ever onward towards the Promised Land of Canaan, God the Father planned for their future inhabitation of the lands, knowing full-well they would settle into an agricultural and herdsmen way of life. As such, God the Father provided a means for His Chosen to secure land/property for themselves as individuals, mark the boundary lines (erect landmarks), and He issued a dire warning as to the consequences of anyone, whether an individual or a nation/country, removed these boundary markers (landmarks), for the Holy Bible says:

“You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which the men of old have set, in your inheritance which you will inherit in the land that the Lord your God is giving you to possess.” (Deuteronomy 19:14 [NKJV])

NOTE: The term “inheritance” correlates to the covenant God the Father first established with the Jewish patriarch, Abram (Abraham), then Moses, then Moses’ successor, Joshua. The covenant was His promise to Abraham and his descendants that if they trusted, followed, and obeyed His commands and the Laws of Judaism, worshiping only Him as God, not allowing themselves to become corrupt by the pagan societies they rubbed elbows with, reverting back to idol worship, He, God the Father, would bless them and uphold them with His right hand. However, if they failed to uphold the covenant and adhere to His commands and the Law, then just as with removing the ancient landmarks, they would feel His wrath/punishment, His curse rain down upon them, for as later we find in Deuteronomy, Chapter 27, Moses declares the dire consequences removing/destroying the ancient landmarks, for the Holy Bible says:

“‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s landmark.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’” (Deuteronomy 27:17 [NKJV])

In these passages, we discern several things:
1) The importance of always trusting, following, and obeying God’s commandments, and the dire consequences for not doing so.

2) The grave importance God the Father placed on land possessing, in regard to lands owned by His Chosen being properly marked, clearly indicating ownership, as the ancient Israelites were dependent upon lands/properties for their agricultural/herdsmen livelihoods; to lose possession of their lands/properties through property disputes or thievery could quite literally be a matter of life and death.

3) God the Father’s consideration for His Chosen regarding land ownership and landmarks, putting such at the forefront of His mind, and making all equally aware by issuing a curse, through Moses, on anyone disobeying His command not to remove the ancient landmarks was/is clear. Curses are real, my brothers and sisters, let no one tell you otherwise. If they were not, God’s Word would not speak of them as such.

4) The importance we, as a people, all of us, whether believers or non-believers, should place on the inheritance from our ancestors, the honor and high respect we should give them for all the effort and hard word they showed in laying the foundation for us to be able to grow and thrive, not only as individuals, but as a body, a country, a nation.

Even wise King Solomon, centuries after Moses had passed and down through multiple generations afterwards, who found himself sitting on the throne as King of Israel, tossed in his two-cents worth regarding landmarks, for the Holy Bible says:

“Do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have set.” (Proverbs 22:28 [NKJV])

And,

“Do not remove the ancient landmark, nor enter the fields of the fatherless; for their Redeemer is mighty; He will plead their cause against you.” (Proverbs 23:10-11 [NKJV])

My brothers and sisters, without the sacrifices of our ancestors, and from a Christian perspective such includes: the ancient Israelites, the early Christians, the early Roman Catholic Church, the Crusaders who stood against the infiltration of marauding Islamic Muslims into early European countries and the Holy Lands of Israel, all those who spoke out and stood against Catholic Church heresies, subsequently splitting from the Mother Church during the Reformation and establishing the Protestant denomination, those who under fear of imprisonment and even the threat of death, continued on with the translation and printing of the Christian Holy Bible from the original languages of Latin and Greek, into German and then English, making the new versions available to all, right down to the Pilgrims fleeing religious persecution and oppression in their native land, England, sailing off into grave peril to the eastern shores of North America, thereby establishing colonies, relationships with the Native Americans, and most importantly, spreading God’s Holy Word through the establishment of the first Christian churches in the Americas - where would we be? Would we even be gathered this day as one in the body of Christ, if not for all those whom I’ve mentioned; all of what they did in providing a means for us to do so, whether they realized it at the time, or not?

God’s command not to remove the ancient landmarks is more than just His way of establishing property lines and boundaries, protecting His Chosen’s livelihoods as farmers and herdsmen. It extends to and speaks of honoring traditions, giving our forefathers, our ancestors, the rightful respect and credit due, even applying to the prophets of old, the disciples (including all the females who aren’t given due credit and honor for being just as devout and loyal to Christ Jesus, as were the males), the Apostles, and even to all those characters contained in the biblical narratives who, whether they were for or against Christ Jesus, his disciples, and the new formed religion, Christianity, played vital roles in its origination and spread throughout the then-known world to present day.

This message speaks to the necessity of us trusting, following, and obeying God’s commands, as well as the teachings of the Son, Christ Jesus, for just as during this period of the ancient Israelites we’ve spoken of, God the Father speaks His commands; His Word, and He is faithful to keep it, regardless of whether such comes in the form of blessings or curses - all who are wise and faithful heed His holy Word. Amen.

As we conclude our service, if there is anyone with us now, or viewing this message later, who has yet to turn their life over to God, now is the time. If you so desire to do so, of your own free will, then bow your heads and repeat this “Sinner's Prayer” with me:

Father God in Heaven: I come to you a sinner, seeking forgiveness and salvation, openly proclaiming You as Almighty God, and Christ Jesus as the sole means of redemption through faith in His divine power and authority, as per Your Grace. Forgive me my indiscretions and accept me into Your Heavenly kingdom upon my earthly demise. In this I pray in the Holy name of Jesus. Amen.

If you said this prayer with me in earnest repentance, then Christ Jesus has forgiven you of all your sins, and drawn you in as a child of His Father - welcome to the family.

Go forth now and seek a local minister or priest for the purpose of water baptism, in accordance with Jesus's instructions, and endeavor to embrace the teachings of this message; and may:

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26 [NKJV])

In conclusion, it’s been our privilege and honor to share God’s Word with you this morning, and our associate pastors and I look forward to serving you throughout the coming week, and certainly we look forward to worshiping our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, with you next Sunday, right here on our ministry page, Bill King Ministries, on Facebook.com, and please, bring along some family and friends along with you.

Now, please join me in our closing prayer, and as always, go in peace, my brothers, and sisters, go in peace.

God above us, maker of all things in both the heavens and upon earth, we glorify Your name and that of Your Son, Christ Jesus, above all others, giving praise, honor, and glory to You for all the wonders of Creation, the countless blessings You so graciously bestow upon us, Your brilliance and initiative, Your commands, Your will, and Your wrath, for You as you said unto Your mighty prophet, Moses, You are merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation. Your children tremble at Your majesty and power, unlike the foolish and corrupt-minded You mock You and refute Your existence. May the Holy Spirit sweep across all the lands convicting the hearts of the wicked. May the landmarks of our ancestors always remain as a symbol of our heritage, and as a sign of the Abrahamic covenant, which wasn’t and isn’t for Your Chosen people, the Israelites, only, but for all Your children, so says Your Holy World, for as You so powerfully spoke to the your mighty King Solomon, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” The lands need healing, O Lord, and hearts across and throughout them need a conviction of the Spirit. Grant unto us the strength to continue, spreading Your commands and the teachings of Christ Jesus, and it’s in His holy name we pray unto You, Amen.

How can we be sure we have everlasting life?

Fellow believers, I greet you in Christ's holy name. I'm Nashon Ofuong'o, associate pastor in Bill King Ministry and I thank you all for allowing me me to share God's holy Word with you this afternoon, here in Kenya.
To senior pastor Bill king and my fellow associate pastors, I commend you for the good work you're doing by feeding the flocks of God with spiritual food on weekly basis. I just want to encourage us that let's not give up in doing the good work knowing that we have a great reward kept for us with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Before we start our sermon, let's bow our heads for a word of prayer,

Dear Heavenly Father, as we gather here to worship You and share your holy word this afternoon, we ask that You open our hearts to your presence. Fill this room with your Holy Spirit and our souls with your peace. All these we ask through your holy Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, today I wish us to share a I've tilted as " How can we be sure we have evalasting life?
And references are,

Mark 12:28, Mark 12:29-31, Mark 12:32, Mark 12:34, 1 John 5 :12-13, Romans 8: 16 and finally, 2 Corinthians 5:17 and all the quotes used in this message are from New King James Version (NKJV) of the holy Bible.

There are many Christians who are not growing because they are not really sure that they have been spiritually into God's family. They're not sure that God has everlasting home for them.

A story is told in the gospel of Mark 12:28-34 about the young who became very interested in what Jesus was saying. And he asked Jesus the first commandment of as the holy Bible says,

"Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, 'which is the first commandment of all?"
([Mark 12:28][NKJV]).

Jesus answered him by saying,
"The first commandment of all the commandments is, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbour as yourself." ([Mark 12:29-31][NKJV]).

The young man agreed with Jesus as the holy Bible says, he replied to Jesus and said,
"Well said teacher, You have spoken the truth, for there is one God , and there's no other but He." ([Mark 12:32][NKJV]).

Jesus saw that he answered Him wisely and told him,
"... You're are not far from the Kingdom of God."
([Mark 12 : 34][NKJV]).

Here, Jesus was trying to tell the young teacher that he was walking close to right road, but he was not quite there yet. This young man was not sure where he was going.

Many of us do think that we everlasting life because this or that, and the other. But often, what we believe does not agree with what the Bible teaches about everlasting life. Some of us may say that we have everlasting life because because we were born in a Christian home, and that our parents are Christians. This is one of the wrong reasons. We are not children of God simply because we were born in a Christian home. Being born in a Christian family does not make a person a child of God.

Now, the question is brothers and sisters, how can we be sure we have everlasting life? My answer is, Yes. We can know that we have eternal life.

The first reason is, God has told us in the Bible that we can know that we have everlasting life, as the holy Bible says,
"He who has the son has life, he who does not have the son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life and you continue to in the name of Son of God." ([1 John 5:12-13][NKJV]).

The second way that wa can know that we have everlasting life is that, when we receive Jesus Christ in our lives, the Holy Spirit also comes to live in us forever, as the holy Bible says,
"[The Spirit Himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are the children of God.([Romans 8:16][NKJV]).

The third way to know that we have everlasting life is that our life will be changing. God will be working in us, so that our thoughts and actions will become more and more the way way God wants them to be. When we join to Christ, He changes us into a new being as the holy Bible says,
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new." ([2 Corinthians 5:17][NKJV]).

Now, as we come to conclusion to this sermon, once again I thank for joining me me in this live presentation, liking, commenting and even sharing it to other people.

I have announcement to put across, tomorrow, Sunday, 8th December,2024, we have one service that will be officiated by Senior pastor Bill king from USA. Bible Study
December 6th, 2024 / 9:30 am (EST)

Subject: Apostle Peter (Part 1 – The Man)

Title of Presentation: Apostle Peter – “On This Rock I Will Build My Church”

References: Matthew 4:18-20, Matthew 16:13-18, Matthew 26:57-75; 27:1, Mark 1:21, Mark 1:29-30, Mark 8:14, Mark 14:27-30, Mark 14:53-72; 15:1, Luke 22:54-71, John 1:43-44, John 18:10-11, John 18:13-27, John 21:15-18, 1 Corinthians 7:1, and 1 Corinthians 7:6-7, as contained in the New King James Version of the Holy Bible, and listed in order of precedence in the use in this study.

Discussion: Apostle Peter, aka Simon Peter, or Simon Bar-Jonah, meaning “Son of Jonah,” as was his proper name, as well as “Cephas,” meaning “Rock, or Stone,” was among the first of Jesus’ chosen Original Twelve disciples, summoned by Our Lord while fishing in the Sea of Galilee with his brother, Apostle Andrew, also chosen among the Original Twelve.

Of the twelve disciples, Peter was the chosen leader, only equaled in stature and standing with Jesus and the other disciples by Apostle John, referred to as “the beloved,” or “the one Jesus loved.” Peter never hesitated when called upon by Jesus, for the Holy Bible says:

“And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers. And He said unto them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.’ They immediately left their nets and followed Him.” (Matthew 4:18-20 [NKJV])

Depending upon which Gospel of the Holy Bible we refer to as to where Peter and Andrew where from, Mark or John, Peter was either from Bethsaida, or Capernaum, for the Holy Bible says:

“The day following, Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and found Philip and said unto him, ‘Follow Me.’ Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.” (John 1:43-44 [NKJV])

“And they went into Capernaum, and straightaway on the Sabbath day He entered into the synagogue and taught.” (Mark 1:21 [NKJV])

“And forthwith when they had come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.” (Mark 1:29-30 [NKJV])

Now, it’s perplexing Mark’s Gospel states Apostle John, Jesus’ “beloved,” was with Jesus, as well as John’s brother, James, when they visited the house of Peter (Simon) and Andrew in Capernaum. Yet, John’s Gospel indicates the residence of Peter and Andrew was in fact in Bethsaida. This is a clear example of one hand not knowing what the other hand was doing, or in this case, writing.

Additionally, Capernaum is located at the northern tip of the Sea of Galilee, while Bethsaida is on the northeastern shore, ninety-nine miles separating them. As such, it is highly unlikely mere confusion is to blame, due to their proximity. So, based on the fact John was present with Jesus, James, Peter, and Andrew wherever their home was, and John himself wrote it was in Bethsaida, I would say Bethsaida wins the prize as being their actual city of residence.

Regardless, Peter was a fisherman, and when called upon by Christ to “Follow Me,” he, and his brother, Andrew, became “fishers of men.”

Peter was a married man, for the Holy Bible says:

“Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with fever.” (Matthew 8:14 (NKJV])

As Peter, as well as the other disciples, were Jewish, and it is customary for Jewish men to leave their father’s household and marry by the age of 18, and per Judaism, any male unmarried by the age of 20 is said to be cursed by God, it is highly probable all the disciples were therefore married and had families, with the exception of Apostle Paul, who on several occasions throughout scripture proudly stated he was unmarried, and held an apparently dim few of women in general, saying to those early Christian men following and listening to him preach:

“It is good for a man not to touch a woman.” (1 Corinthians 7:1 [NKJV])

“But I say this as a concession, not as a commandment. For I wish that all men were even as myself.” (1 Corinthians 7:6-7 [NKJV])

Apostle Peter is most widely recognized and holds distinction for three incidences in the Holy Bible: First, He was the disciple chosen by Jesus to lead His church, for the Holy Bible says:

“When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, ‘Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?’ And they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the Prophets.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Simon Peter answered and said, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I say also to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.’” (Matthew 16:13-18 [NKJV])

Second recognition and distinction, the assault in the Garden of Gethsemane: Apostle Peter was known for his aggressiveness, boldness, and defensiveness when it came to his beloved, and His rabbi, Jesus Christ, for when soldiers came and sought to lay hands on Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter would have none of it, for the Holy Bible says:

“Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. So, Jesus said to Peter, ‘Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given me?’” (John 18:10-11 [NKJV])

And the third and final recognition and distinction, the Denial of Jesus: As Jesus sat and dined in the Upper Room with His disciples during the Jewish Passover celebration, He prophesied Peter would deny Him three times that night, before the rooster crowed twice, for the Holy Bible says:

“Then Jesus said to them, ‘All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written, ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee.’ Peter said to Him, ‘Even if all are made to stumble, yet I will not be.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.’” (Mark 14:27-30 [NKJV])

Peter, to his own anguish, did just as Our Lord had prophesied, as the narrative of Peter’s denial is found in Matthew 26:57-75; 27-1, Mark 14:53-72; 15-1, Luke 22:54-71, and John 18:13-27. We know he was distraught over His sin of denial, as the Holy Bible says:

“And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He said to him, ‘Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.’ So, Peter went out and wept bitterly.” (Luke 22:61-62 [NKJV])

All was forgiven of Peter by the resurrected Lord Jesus prior to His ascension to heaven, for the Holy Bible says:

“So, when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ‘Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?’ He said to him, ‘Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.’ He said to him, ‘Feed My lambs.’ He said to him again a second time, ‘Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?’ He said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.’ He said to him, ‘Tend My sheep.’ He said to him the third time, ‘Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?’ And he said to Him, ‘Lord, You know all these things; You know that I love You.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my sheep.’” (John 21:15-18 [NKJV])

Peter was comforted and reassured in Jesus’ repeating questioning of him, and His instructions unto him each time he responded, “Yes, You know that I love You!” He had thereby been forgiven of his fault, once more positioned as the “Rock” on which Our Lord would build His church. Hallelujah!

Point of the Lesson: We have studied Apostle Peter, the man and the disciple, observing his strengths, his weaknesses, his integrity, his flaws, his accomplishments, his failures, his aggressiveness, and his emotions, as well as his forgiveness by Christ Jesus – what an inspiration for us all, for if Jesus forgave Peter for the transgression of denial, how much so are we assured of the forgiveness of our sins through our faithfulness in the Living Son of God.

In conclusion, if you enjoyed this lesson and agreed with my teachings, our Associate Pastors and I wish to encourage you to join us on our Facebook ministry page, Bill King Ministries, as we serve you with God’s holy word and divine inspiration throughout each week, and especially welcome you and your family and friends to join us each Sunday morning at 10:00 am (EST), 5 pm Kenyan/Ugandan time, 7 pm Pakistan time, and 8 pm Bangladesh time. And please ensure you click on “Like,” and become an official member/follower of our ministry. Bless you.

Now, please join me in closing prayer, and as always, go in peace, my brothers, and sisters, go in peace.

Heavenly Father, as Peter was merely a man, and thereby susceptible to weakness and failure, so are we all. His faith never wavered, nor his determination in carrying Your Gospel unto the world. Hallelujah for the Original Twelve. Instill in each of us the strength and perseverance of those brave men, forgiving us of our indiscretions, as You so forgave Simon Peter. In the Holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
