Congratulations to our very talented Falcons musicians!!

2023-2024 Texas Music Scholars

The following students received the distinction of "Texas Music Scholar" from the Texas Music Educators Association on May 1, 2024. These students must have maintained an "A" average for the school year, auditioned and selected for an All-Region Band, performed a UIL Class I Solo, and consistently exhibited behavior that brought honor to their program, school, and community.

If you purchase wristbands at the gate you will pay almost $33 dollars a piece. We offer you a huge price break on these wristbands!

Need a night out this week? Come join the Falcon band, play some bingo, have snacks, & help a great group of kids get new uniforms next year!!!

The Falcon band would LOVE to see your glowing faces at our Glow-in-the-dark Binglow night! We will have concessions, bingo with glow in the dark bingo daubers for sale, glow sticks, black lights, popcorn and live auction items (getaway for 2, hand made velvet blanket)! BHS band loves supporting all of our Falcons and would love to purchase some new uniforms to go with our new high school next year (band uniforms are expensive)! Your entry fee will pay for 6 bingo cards (for adults) and 3 for kids and a small bag of pop corn. Additional cards, daubers, glow sticks, concessions may be purchased by cash or

There have been multiple reports of black smoke in the city of Amarillo. THERE ARE NO FIRES NEAR AMARILLO AT THIS TIME. Due to the wind shift we are getting lots of calls. If you see a fire please report it but if you just smell or see smoke do not call at this time. Our dispatchers are extremely busy.

The Amarillo Area Office of Emergency Management along with fire officials are monitoring the situation right now. We will keep you updated.

If you have a health condition, please stay inside.

If you have DONATIONS, please wait for further instructions. Do not attempt to take them to the scene. We are working on coordinating all the donations for tomorrow.

SHARED FROM BUSHLAND ELEMENTARY:

The last day to apply for the 23-24 school year, Tuition Based PreK is TOMORROW May 31st. In order for BISD to offer this program for the 23-24 school year, there must be enough interest. Families that have turned in all the required documents and deposit will be notified by the end of the day on June 1st.

UPDATE: Falcons win game 1 beating Wall 11-2!!! Way to go boys!! Game two up shortly.
