This page is a public service to our followers. We cover all of Eastern Iowa, West Central Illinois, and North East Missouri by providing our followers with information about safety issues within our coverage area. We provide severe weather, traffic advisories, fire and/or law enforcement incident coverage for our followers, as well as event information for departments. We also at times provide a

humorous prospective and public service announcements on certain issues that arise from time to time. If our followers have information/pictures, we encourage the following:
1) Send them to us via a message or you can email [email protected]
2) Be safe in taking the pictures. Do not become a distraction for Law Enforcement or fire officials performing their duties.
3) Do not take pictures or send us a message in an unsafe manner, such as while driving. We will not post pictures that we deem to have violated this rule.
4) We do not post personal information regarding incidents on this page. Followers who post personal information will have the post removed and face possible banishment.
5) Administration reserves all rights regarding what will be posted to the page. For Agencies wishing to have us post their benefit information, we highly suggest that:
1) The event is originally created from the department’s own page. The reason for this is that if the event is created from you department’s page it will allow the event planners a rough idea of how many to expect. Our followers can directly indicate if they will attend on your event page. If the department does not have a page, we will gladly create an event, however it may not reach the full reach potential. It will automatically put Eastern Iowa Fireground Photo as the host. We can not change that, but we do indicate in our page post which department is hosting.
2) When Eastern Iowa Fireground Photos shares the event from your page our followers will get notifications of an upcoming event.
3) We can add your flyer to the event share on our page as a comment to further your reach.
4) If you would like us to assist with spreading the word, please send us a message to ATTN: Event Manager. Our event staff will be happy to assist you from there. For Media outlets that wish to use our content:
We generally have no issue with the use of our content as long as we are given credit however we do ask that you contact our Lead Administration staff. Update: Farmer says the fire is controlled but the deputy doesn’t agree. FD continuing non emergent.
Avoid the area of the 3800 blk of Old Hwy 61 south of Burlington. Deputies are out with a corn field on fire, Burlington Fire is responding. (14)

Update: the fire has spread to a pickup truck that was sitting for sale near the intersection.

South to southwest winds will gust up to 35 mph this afternoon.
These winds, along with cured crops, low humidity levels, and
temperatures of 85 to 90, will lead to very high fire danger
today. Any fires that develop in cured agricultural fields or
grasses will spread quickly.

We were live down at National Night Out

Tonight Conesville Iowa fish and wing fry with live auction to follow. 5pm-? Come out and support this awesome fire department.

Video of a pursuit that occurred earlier tonight (7/30/23) which started in Lee County and ended east of Mediapolis. Iowa State Patrol, Des Moines County Sheriff's Office, Burlington Iowa Police Department, West Burlington Iowa Police Department and Lee County Iowa Sheriff's Office were involved in this pursuit. The pursuit came to a safe end with the driver arrested.

Congratulations to Burlington Iowa Police Department Officer Kenny Zahner, Badge 250 on his well deserved retirement! Your positive impact on the community will always be remembered and will certainly be missed. The dispatcher that accepted his final 10-42 is is own son Coleton who has been a dispatcher for a few years now. Im sorry didn’t catch the whole thing in this video. I used Snapchat which has a 1 minute limit. If I get a hold of a complete video I will replace this one.

2022 Shop With a Cop arrival at the West Burlington Walmart.

I wanted to share how large the Muscatine County fire was with a recording of the NWS Radar from Davenport. This event was a huge collaborative effort including around 15 fire departments along with Muscatine Co Sheriff and Muscatine Co EMA. Fires of this magnitude are rarely seen this far north in the Midwest but can still happen when conditions are right. Unfortunately this was the case.

West Burlington Firefighters Association collecting money for families in need this holiday season! Come to Agency and Broadway to fill the stockings!
