The Westosha Paranormal Society founded in 2001 and has been dedicated to the advancement and growth of paranormal research and investigation.
As an investigation team, we are a consultant-based group that does not charge for our services. This means that we will assess your haunting, debunk as necessary, and try to figure out what the full picture is. We will work with you to find a solution where you are comfortable with the outcome and you can be at peace.
So that we can best serve our clients, we often consult with experts in a variety of different fields in the event we need additional input on cases. We also provide advising and consultations for those who need assistance outside of the areas we serve.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns, and we will respond as soon as we can.

When you capture orbs on camera or video - This is something good to keep in mind the next time you think you've captured something Paranormal.

An orb in security camera footage looks like a ball of light and is usually round, blurry, fuzzy, and white ish in color. The first time you catch one, or even several orbs on your security camera footage, you might do a double-take. After all, these orbs can almost look as if a ghost has passed through your home or business.
In truth, these orbs are typically specks of dust, pollen, water droplets or small insects. Which can be caused by the camera lens reflecting light from another light source or even in night vision mode or IR lens. When light shines on the speck by catching it just in the right spot, that speck shows up as an orb on the video footage.
You’ll find that orbs usually occur at night or when in night mode. During the day, sunshine will illuminate the majority of the camera’s field of view, thereby hiding the orb. Whereas at night, a small light source, such as the light on your camera or light coming from a nearby window, will illuminate the speck lingering on your camera’s lens. I hope that helps explain more of what you have seen!
