Fridays are for getting weird. This thing started as a simple bezier graphic for a website and morphed into a beautiful monster. It’s mesmerizing to watch and really addictive to twiddle the k***s and get weird, beautiful results.

In addition to our new identity, we have some new work that we're really excited to share with you: a music video conceived, scored, and animated by James Kowalski over the course of 2018.

Ethos is a short film examining what it means to be human, the connections between us, and how powerful our choices can be.

If you're reading this then you've been a friend, client, or co-conspirator of ours over the years. Maybe we've all worked together at some point, pushing pixels, and then sharing some beers after a big launch.

James and I wanted to take a minute to reintroduce ourselves. We have each been working in the creative industry for 15 years and have collaborated creatively during that time for clients such as Coca-Cola and Mazda, on projects ranging from websites and explainer videos to conceptual UI and installations.

Today we are announcing Simple Creature, a just-the-right-size digital design and interactive animation studio in Burlington, VT. We will continue to deliver fresh content, websites and apps for our longstanding clients, while seeking out challenging and fulfilling projects that combine design and technology in unique and exciting ways.
