Locally owned and operated by Gray Broadcasting LLC. in Burlington North Carolina. Since its debut in 1947 as WFNS We have always been committed to Alamance County and our listeners. In 1964, the callsign was changed to WBAG, meaning We’re Burlington And Graham. WBAG operates with 1,000 watts during the day and 48 watts at night on 1150 AM and 105.9 FM broadcast operates on 250 watts both day and night. As our commitment we provide wholesome family programs and promote local businesses and local people. WBAG has also been named Alamance County’s favorite Radio station 15 times, favorite talk radio station 16 times, favorite sports radio station 12 times, CBMA Beach station of the year in 2014 and 2019. Mebane Enterprise Best of the best 2 times, 5 time AP Top contributor diamond award winner.
