12 years ago, Get Stoked! Records was created by Mikey Wierzbicki, Matt Kimball, and Justin Gonyea to help support friends who were making music. We also always tried to help our friends in need outside of this, whether it was hosting benefit shows or putting out benefit releases. It's time for us to help out one our own.

Mikey's mother, Charlene, passed away on October 24th and Mikey has been struggling to pay his expenses. A friend, Martha Pullen, put together a GoFund me to help Mikey with some of his expenses but Matt, Justin, and our good friends Spencer Crispe and Bobby Hackney Jr. decided we wanted to do something to help that was also in the spirit of Get Stoked! Records. Charlene was always so supportive of music, an awesome person, and a wonderful Mother. Get Stoked! Records wouldn't exist it if it wasn't for Charlene and we wanted to commemorate her in a way that we knew how.

Introducing for a limited time: the Get stoked! Records "Charlene" Black Metal shirt, in memory of Charlene A. Patch from Rutland, Vermont. Artwork by Rotting Reign (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) and the shirts will be printed by La Mercheria (Seattle, WA). All funds raised will go directly to Mikey to help with expenses he has. Get Stoked! Records co-founder, Mikey X recently lost his mother and on top of that is experiencing some serious financial hardship. He just learned he needs a new furnace among other debts and expenses. Please help him out and spread the word!

This sucker right here will be available for pre-order from us on January 10th! Void Bringer and Youth Dispute represent the current offering of powerviolence/fastcore from the Green Mountian State. This 8-track split EP will be available exclusively on cassette (and digitally of course) as a co-release with 625 Thrash and Second Republic. This will also be our 2nd to last release ever. After 11 years, we’ve decided to bow out gracefully as we continue to see rising costs/production delays in physical media become a real hindrance to the DIY punk community. To this day, we’re still broke punks who can barley pay their electric bill. Our final release is probably a long way off, but we are committed to making it a reality. Stay tuned for more info on that. In the mean time, save your pennies for this magnetic tape offering of blast beats and carnal rage!

Ten years ago, Get Stoked! Records was created to help support our friends who were making music. Now, one of our best friends and biggest supporters needs our help in a different way.

On September 2, 2020, Nick Grandchamp (Get a Grip, Sink or Swim, People Watchers, River City Rebels) found out his mom Joanne was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Sadly, Joanne passed away on September 10, 2020.

Since we’re not currently able to do a benefit show to help out his family financially, we’ve decided to use this t-shirt design originally intended for our 10th anniversary to help Nick’s family out. These donations will go towards Joanne's services, arrangements, and help her husband maintain daily life. Shiver, by Dry Socket

Thanks to everyone who ordered the Dry Socket tape! Got an update from the cassette duplication facility today; the tapes are nearly complete and they estimate will be ready in 1-2 weeks. Things have certainly been backed up due to delays within the postal service. So hopefully we'll have these out to you all by the end of August!
