The thing no one tells you about growing your social media presence is the fact that you always feel overwhelmed, when you should be proud of yourself. 🤝

That feeling of overwhelm creeps in because there’s so much to juggle—content planning, posting consistently, engaging with followers, and figuring out what’s working. It can feel like there’s always more to do, and it’s easy to forget how far you’ve come or how much effort you’re putting in.

But I'm here to tell you that feeling of overwhelm is normal.

It means you are putting yourself out there. And THAT is something to celebrate! 🎉

So next time you set a big goal and start second-guessing, remember: just the fact you’re trying is already a reason to celebrate!

A new year means a fresh start to dream bigger and reach those goals! Mine for 2025 are...

1️⃣ Put more focus on content creating so I can reach & teach more women-owned businesses. This year, I want to prioritize creating educational, inspirational, and actionable content that helps womenpreneurs feel empowered in their marketing strategies. From social media tips to business growth hacks, I’m excited to share more of what I know and make a meaningful impact in their journeys.

2️⃣ Do less consuming and more connecting. Instead of scrolling endlessly, I want to focus on building genuine relationships with my audience and other entrepreneurs. This means engaging in meaningful conversations, collaborating with like-minded individuals, and creating a community where we can all grow together.

3️⃣ Start a social media group coaching program, because I want to help women effectively market their businesses without spending all day online. I know how overwhelming it can feel to juggle social media and everything else in a business, so I’m crafting a program that simplifies the process, saves time, and delivers results. I can’t wait to bring this vision to life and support more women in achieving their marketing goals.

Bluesky is a decentralized social media platform created to give users more control over their data, algorithms, and online experience.

But who should download it?

Numbers that actually matter for your business: Engagement Rate, Impressions, and Conversion Rate!

It’s easy to get caught up in the likes and hearts, but these three metrics give you the REAL answers on how your content is performing and connecting with your audience.

➡️ Engagement Rate: Are people liking, commenting, and DMing you? This shows your audience is vibing with what you’re putting out there 👍
➡️ Impressions: How many eyeballs are on your content? This tells you if your posts are reaching your audience 👀
➡️ Conversion Rate: Did those viewers turn into customers? This is where the real magic happens and can tell you A LOT about what is working for your overall sales funnel 🪄

Instagram is loud, and with only 1-3 seconds to make an impact, your first line needs to SLAP. 😧

Here are 4 types of hooks (with examples) that you can use the next time you are filming a reel or writing a caption:

1. Curiosity-Inducing: These play on our natural desire to seek out information we don’t know yet. Curiosity hooks work because they’re open-ended, and your audience won’t feel satisfied until they get the answer.

Example:
✨ The common thread among my most successful clients? Find out here.
✨ My VIP clients are all doing this...
✨ My most successful clients all have THIS in common...

2. Storytelling: Stories connect us emotionally and offer a narrative we can relate to. By sharing relatable experiences, you’re not just a brand or a business— you’re someone they can trust.

Example:
✨ Here is how I went from [start of journey] to [where you are now]
✨ This is the story of how I became a [profession]

3. Actionable Advice: When you offer immediate value, your audience will stick around to see what they can learn and implement. With actionable hooks, you’re positioning your content as a go-to resource, making your audience see you as a solution provider and boost your credibility.

Example:
✨ Don’t let [pain point] hold you back any longer—try this method instead
✨ When I am feeling like I can’t [pain point], I always go back to basics of [method or process]
✨ 5 simple steps to achieving [your client’s desired result]

4. Shock Factor: These capture attention by surprising or even challenging your audience’s expectations. Shock factor hooks work well because they disrupt the status quo. When used strategically, they encourage readers to question their current tactics and stick around for answers.

Examples:
✨ How to live [emotional result you deliver to client] without feeling [pain point for client]
✨ Fun fact: You don’t have to feel [pain point for client]
✨ Unpopular opinion: [your unique perspective on a common painpoint]

Hey there 👋 We have a ton of new followers on the roster so I thought I would reintroduce myself!
