Mission Control Media and the family join the Hollywood community in mourning the tragic loss of Academy-Award-winning producer Jon Landau. Jon’s credits include Titanic and Avatar. He appeared as a guest judge during season 4 of Face Off in the episode titled "It’s Better in the Dark”. RIP, Jon Landau.

May the 4th Be With You! to the first episode of season 3 when the artists were challenged to create an alien for the iconic ! Rod Maxwell and Roy Wooley knocked it out of the park (universe?) with their tiny alien who needs a robot exoskeleton to get around! Such a great and iconic character!

Meet Olive!
 
Olive was the OG of Mission Control Dogs, the grand dame who was loved by all.  Sadly, Olive passed in 2022.  She is missed… and loved every day.
 
Full name: Olive Marie Larsson Smith

Age: 13

Breed: Lab, Greyhound, Pitbull

Brief backstory: A rescue from the East Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles who had been an owner surrender (twice!) by 6 months old.  What is wrong with people?  She was the best!!!!

Favorite food: Not picky, a true foodie

Favorite toy: Stuffed pink gorilla

Pet Peeve: Little white dogs (non-negotiable)

Naughtiest deed: Terrorizing possums

Funniest moment: Hilarious head c***s

Favorite pastime: Playing with her green ball that dispenses treats

Known accomplices:  Winston, Sammi and Taboo

Breed: Husky Poodle mix (Poosky)

Backstory:  Cooper was adopted from a dog rescue only on Tuesday!    He is one of 4 Pooskys that were rescued. 

Favorite food: Hmmm…chicken?

Favorite toy: Shoes and shoelaces

Pet Peeve:  NA

Naughtiest deed: Pooping on the extra white rug

Funniest moment: Cooper sticking his full head inside a Nike sneaker

Favorite pastime: Sleeping and sticking to his human like a shadow

Known accomplices:  NA

Meet Bruno!
 
 
Full name: Bruno Alouicious LeBlanc-Jackson

Age: 15

Breed: Chihuahua 

Backstory: Since spending his formative years in the harsh winters of Toronto, Canada, Bruno has become a true SoCal Chihuahua. He spends his days lounging, sleeping, and relaxing as is expected of a senior gentleman.

Favorite food: Whatever you have that he doesn’t have.

Favorite toy: A plush blue bone he’s had since his first day on this earth. He still sleeps with it.

Pet Peeve: Cuddles. Bruno prefers his personal space to be unoccupied.

Naughtiest deed: He knows what he did…

Funniest moment: Bruno loves dirt. If he sees a fresh pile of dirt, get the hose ready because this Chihuahua loves to burrow in the ground.

Favorite pastime: Eating. Sleeping.  Eating again.

Known accomplices:  Gloria, but only because his parents say so
