Celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary in St Augustine at the this last weekend and the food. 🥵

The food was beautiful and delicious and deserves its own appreciation post. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily and 5 pm happy hour just the same. The Bayfront Marin House makes everything so easy with their easy text system; we could select delivery times, meal options and any other room requests or questions and were answered almost immediately by front staff. It made our stay so much easier and the introvert hearts happy.

A month with this sweet boy! Felix has such a goofy personality and loves going out to play. We broke out his new amphibious toys from . He's not quite ready for the water yet but he does love this new toys.

Happy 5th Birthday Andy Ann! Andy has big 3rd child energy, nothing stops her. She's a princess in her own right, would live without shoes, and just loves life. She is the sassiest of the Franklin kids, the most helpful, and most talkative. She never goes anywhere without making a friend or 10. She's proof two introverts can't create a extrovert. Love you banana! 💜💜

What goes perfect after a long day of softball?! S'mores of course.

We have been to Ocala so many times this year and I can't believe we never found this hidden gem. We love staying at rather than hotels because they are bigger, cozier and more personable for usually the same price or cheaper. is our new go to every time we head to Ocala.

Besides the fact that the house is beautiful there are tons of family friendly amenities! Board games, a game room and what the kids have all been waiting since we arrived....s'mores and fire pit!

I swear this girl does not know what a day off is 🤣
Last night she did Tee work at the ball field than had her dad hit pop flies to the outfield. Today she woke up early to do conditioning than spent a hour with her bounce back net before she started school. She's determined to go places ❤️🥎🔥

Any else completely inundated during Spring ball season? Lol. I do this to myself I swear. I might be completely exhausted and my house is a wreck but we are enjoying every moment of Baseball and Softball this spring. 🥎⚾️

Spending our weekends watching one kid do what she absolutely loves and the other 2 roll around in the dirt and enjoy the fresh air. It's really a win win!

Spent the weekend wrapping up Uninvited by and I can not express enough how good it is for the soul. I wish my younger self had the opportunity to read her story.

Uninvited focuses on embracing and understanding your self worth. Uninvited reminds us that we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken or taken.....a love that does not reject or uninvite.

15 hours at the ballfield & the girls brought home the gold!! First tournament as a 12u team and these girls came out!! Charlie came out with phenomenal opening to the season and threw 2 runners out to end the championship game!! First tournament down and a whole year to go!

We just wrapped up our 2nd week of homeschooling for Charlie and I think Mack is the happiest! He loves having his big sister home all day! ❤️

We're your kids ready to go back to school after holiday break?

2023 was so good to us. We focused on family this year; especially those who became part of family. We spent all of our time at the ball field, traveled with our softball family and vacationed like our lives depended on it.

We got to watch Charlie do what she loves at a whole new level. Watched her passion burn with a fierceness. Put in all the extra work to be the best. Learn how to handle set backs. All while we found ourselves a 2nd family who loves and embraces our kids like their own.

Jack was sweet Jack. Opening his heart to everyone foster kiddo who walked in our door. He loves so deeply, treats everyone with so much respect and compassion at 6.

Andy is always she's fierce. She started school and continues to proves that our family needed that surprise 3rd baby.

At the beginning of the year we thought we would have Mack for only a week. It's been a full year and we got to love him through all his firsts!

William spent more time at home. Continues to love coaching the kids team, being the fun parent, and proving why he's still my best friend.

We have officially wrapped up Charlie's first season of travel softball! We started this team with a bunch of rec ball girls who have been playing together since they were 6; just wanting to have some fun and be a little more competitive. I would never imagined they would come out and completely dominate their first year. Our coaches and staff dedicate their time and love to all of our girls really making it a family affair.

Charlie liked catching when we started but over the last year it has become her passion. She has dug down deep putting all the extra work in trying to become the best. Even a 6 week hand injury didn't slow her down this season. She has become a beast behind the plate and is starting to finding her voice & confidence to help run her team. It blows my mind she was 9 years old most of the season. While we are sad to see the season end I can't wait to see what she does in 12u next year 🥎

The read is complete! Honestly if I didn't know this was a non-fiction book going in I wouldn't even comprehend or believe some of the events that took place. Wounded Tiger was captivating and enthralling while sharing historical accurate events that most people don't even know happened or might have been forgotten. follows the lives of three individuals during World War II near Japan and China. I have read so many books about World War II but nothing based on the perspective of soldiers or about the fight in the Pacific. The story is eye opening and absolutely devastating; giving a well rounded view of everyone's perspective of the fight and the outcome. With the 82nd anniversary of Pearl Harbor this week it is important to understand where we came from and how hard war is on everyone in every country. I cannot recommend Wounded Tiger enough.
