The Lace Sensor pickups got taken out and were replaced with my old EMG 81 / 85 combo. I like the new look! Back In Black! Slowly getting it tweaked out and running. . . 😎

We restored a customers’ used ‘09 LTD in the shop this week. It was recently purchased on marketplace. It was super dirty. Story is, it sat and collected dust in an attic for years. The neck had a bad backbow. And one of the bridge saddles was stripped, so we used a chrome spare as a replacement. We also added another tension spring, and found a spare tremolo arm that fit well. We went for a budget re-string, set-up, and repair to just make it playable again. Stays in tune great! Now that the guitar is functioning solid, it may return to the shop for some cosmetic repairs and mods in the future. Check out the video on YouTube!

We are taking a look at an “Ovation Style” guitar by Cozart. We are addressing the owners’ concerns and giving it a full inspection. Strings are fresh, intonation is good, and it’s conditioned and polished!

This Jackson Rhoads is been back on the bench. It has a new mini killswitch, momentary push button with a white top.
It fits the same size diameter hole as the existing control k***s, and easily installs without drilling or modification. Giving these super cheap switches a test.
New foam was put in the bridge cavity for a clean look underneath.

Next, we will be rebuilding the old stock Licensed Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo with some more durable parts and upgrades.

In the shop this week, a Fender Squire Bullet. Getting a Re-String, and upgraded with roller string trees and a replacement tremolo arm. Now it’s ready to do whammy bar dive bombs and stay in tune better. . .
