🌊 Understanding Lake Anna’s Watershed: Upper, Middle, and Lower Basins 🌊
Lake Anna’s watershed is a 342-square-mile drainage area that shapes its ecosystem. The Upper Basin—stretching from Rose Valley to the State Park—receives the largest portion of runoff, while the Middle (from the Splits to the Power Plant) and Lower Basins (below the Power Plant) benefit from smaller inflows. 💧 Understanding this division helps us grasp the lake’s health and how runoff affects each section differently.
