"Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." (Colossians 3:17 AKJV)
Why is Jesus' name so important? It represents His character, His power, and His purposes. It's the name of salvation and grace. Whatever we do, we can align our actions and our hearts with His character and love, walking under the umbrella of His authority and power.
And we can constantly give thanks to God because we have life in Jesus' name and we have a purpose for our lives. To know God and love Him, to love others and help them to know Him.
What a life, what an adventure. To know God and make Him known.
What are you thankful for this year? We celebrate God and life with Him. Happy Thanksgiving!
