President Joe Biden has called for a National Day of Mourning on Thursday, Jan. 9, to honor the late President Jimmy Carter.
Various governmental entities are closed today, including but not limited to all federal offices, post offices, stock markets, Erie County offices.
Individuals who have appointments with any Erie County department or office should reach out to the department or office in question to reschedule.
President Biden has requested that Americans visit their places of worship to honor President Carter's memory.
