When you’ve been together for 10 years, it can be hard to surprise one another. Yet, when Kim went to propose to Meg by the waterfront, she had no idea
Megan and Tim dreamed of a winter wedding in Buffalo. A picturesque scene starring a healthy dusting of snow peacefully preserved with single-digit temperatures—best enjoyed inside a cozy space.
After they've done the dang thing, we love asking newly-married folks about moments from the big day they cherish the most. For Allina, who married her high school sweetheart surrounded by 260 guests and pure elegance, seeing everyone celebrating together was it for her.
Allison and Ben had plans for a big outdoor bash, complete with over 150 friends and family and a lineup of food trucks to fuel the party. Take one look at the pair's special day and you'll see that's not what they ended up with – and they couldn't have been happier.
Visit their real wedding story to take in details from their intimate, backyard garden party that overlooked Glen Falls.
Allison and Ben didn’t meet until years after they graduated from the same high school. And even then, it wasn’t quite love at first sight.
Sharing a few sweet details from Emily and Mike's special day that included a dessert table topped with croissants from Butter Block, lotus blossom cookies and other signature treats whipped up by their own family members. But the showstopper of their spread was an olive oil cake by The Dapper Goose, displayed in its beautiful, natural glory. More details to love from the day in our story.
Great food, cocktails and conversation—the inspiration behind Emily Baczynski and Mike Olek’s wedding—is also what first drew them together.
When Lex and Alex were looking for a venue to hold their summer wedding, they had a few musts. It was important that their guests could roam during the reception without feeling tied to one spot or table.
The separate bars and spaces, including an outdoor area on the rooftop of the Curtiss Hotel allowed the pair's guests to mingle as they pleased, whether to dance, eat or enjoy the views — all while still feeling part of the party. More from Alex and Lex's celebration in our story.
Alexandra and Alexander—Lex and Alex—found they had a lot more in common than their names when they first met. As two local business owners, the pair clicked quickly. Lex owns
Brandi and Chris danced their first dance as husband and wife to “At Last.” The final song of the night was just as special and in tribute to Brandi's late grandmother, whose favorite movie of all time was Dirty Dancing.
Not one guest was left sitting when the band finished the final chords of “The time of my life.”
The only question about Brandi and Chris’ whirlwind romance is why fate took so long to bring them together.
A helpful reminder from one of our real wedding stories, shared with the ups and downs of wedding planning in mind. But, as far as we're concerned, it sounds like pretty solid advice for just navigating life.

At Molly and Spencer's mountain-top wedding, every guest – including Spencer's 94-year-old grandmother – rode the chairlift at Holiday Valley up to the ceremony. On the way up, Molly was accompanied by her parents, but on the way down Spencer joined her to take in their first moments as newlyweds. That's pretty epic if you ask us. More on their big day in the story.

One look at Brandi and Chris and you'll find it hard to believe the pair went nearly two decades hearing about one another but never meeting. They finally met in April 2021 and were married at the Park Country Club of Buffalo in October of the same year.
The big day captured the essence of their whirlwind romance in their own version of a fairy tale. Roaring fireplaces and vintage-inspired hues took over the ambience, but what really made the day special was the outpour of support Brandi and Chris received when they asked guests to donate to two special charities – Buffalo City Missionand WNYHeroes.org – in lieu of a traditional wedding registry.
“We know that there are people out there that need way more resources than what is available,” says Brandi.

Amid two business expansions and on the verge of a pandemic, Lex and Alex (Alex x2) set their sights on forever.
Following the lift on event restrictions, 200 guests gathered at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, and later on the rooftop of the Curtiss Hotel , to celebrate their love. In an intentional and beautifully executed mix of tradition and new school vibes, every detail was customized to the pair's taste. Specially-crafted cookies paid tribute to their businesses, Sweat Society and Uncle Jumbo's American Vodka, and guests mingled from outdoors to in, without any formal seating assignments.
“We had so much fun at our wedding,” said Lex.
