Eli Tiernan sends Buffalo to Section 8AA championship game with overtime goal in 2-1 win over St. Cloud. Next up Wed. Feb. 28, at MAC in St. Cloud against Elk River.

Just spoke with a group of about a dozen protestors along Sturges Park in Buffalo. Some cars honking in support of BLM and George Floyd. They say response is about 80% good and 20% negative so far.

Congratulations to Brandon Maatz, who scored 22 points in Buffalo’s 65-58 he win tonight over Chanhassen. Maatz’s 3-pointer on this play put him over 1,000 points for his career.

Congratulations to Matthew Willert, who broke Josh Ortmann’s record as Buffalo High School’s all-time scoring leader last night in Bison’s 77-52 win over Brainerd. Here is video of Willert’s 26th point and 1,407 career point on his fadeaway three.

A 17-14 upset win for Buffalo football tonight at rival STMA in Class 6A state tournament. Here is Bison celebrating their big win.

Tough loss for Buffalo in season opener tonight in Alexandria. Cardinals win 56-20. One of the few highlights for Bison was this 8-yard TD catch from Aidan Bouman to Michael Tweten.

Aidan Bouman connects for 60-yard TD score to Michael Tweten in today’s scrimmage with St. Cloud Apollo.
