The words we use matter! If the treatment would be best for a family member you care about, then donโt use limiting terms with patients. ๐
If it is important, stop using words that erase the need for the care. Soft skills are for better communication and connection- not to make you feel better about delivering a treatment option. ๐
Letโs not limit the impact of the need for treatment with our words. Most patients can cope with what you share and all patients appreciate the truth of the matter! ๐
