FOLLOW US So we can be together on Facebook. There is a Book that made a Difference in My Life years ago. It is called Choose Change Before Change Chooses you! My friend, Linda Limbers Mitchell, wrote a book with that title. She is the mother-in-law to Dennis Quade, the famous movie actor starring in movies like Reagan, The Rookie, The Day After Tomorrow, The Parent Trap and many more. He is actually one of my favorite actors.
Linda worked for Cadillac in Detroit. And it was her job to motivate all the car dealerships into their greatness. She knew she represented a Brand that focuses on quality and staying on top and that the dealerships needed to reflect that excellence in everything they do.
When she showed me her book one day over lunch, I never got the title "Choose Change before Change Chooses You, out of my head. "Choosing Change" is sometimes scarey but so rewarding! They say that nobody likes change, except for babies when you change their diapers. It can be uncomfortable, yet make you stronger. And it will always require effort, but that how we learn. It is definately about moving forward at the right moment. And most of the time, sooner than later.
Our past lessons of victory or failure, can become "power" or "fear". But either way, we can use it as fuel as we grow older to help others and to help ourselves . We can acknowledge our mistake as lessons learned. Forgive ourselves our own stupidity and others so that we can be forgiven. And use all of the wisdom we have gained on what to do or not to do for good.

I knew it would be a little chilly on our 1st day on the MSC cruise ship as we were departing from New York. So I decided to grab this top to celebrate the fact that I was actually getting on a boat and to stay warm.

The autumn season is so beautiful. It's a time to go for a walk. Take a bike or motorcycle ride. Buy a gallon of fresh cider. Get some apples and dip them in caramel. Sit by an open fire and roast some marshmallows.
